PSG are really destroying themselves giving all that power to one player. The money does not matter to PSG but they should be prepared for other current and future players to get contracts on or close to Mbappé money.
The length of the contract is also weird, it is not short term to be taken as cash grab to then move out but also not long term to be taken that he is fully committed to PSG future. If this is what he got now what's more he will ask for in 3 years?
Thinking about it 3 years, Perez have flirted with retiring completely after his current term so maybe Mbappé plan is to wait until Perez is retired then he think he can get the next president to let all this slide and sign him (or at least chase him).
Perez will never call Mbappé again, and I agree that the door should be forever closed for Mbappé as soon as he signed any type of contract with PSG .
I think we will use the money we saved for him wisely and come out of all this better over all, will be strengthening multiple positions with multiple top talent with the money that would have gone to Mbappé.

His deal is only for 3 years as well. So once it's up do they offer him even more to renew? If you're Messi, or Neymar and Sergio Ramos for that matter, how are you going to feel about a 23 year old having that much power over your career? The whole thing seems like it's going to blow up in PSG's face so badly. But PSG can fuck off, so it should be funny to watch. It'll be amazing if they still don't manage to win a Champions League after those 3 years. And in some ways this does make it less likely. They put a huge amount of money into building a dream attacking lineup, but it made their team unbalanced. So now their response is to sink even more money into that attack just to maintain it.

What's even more impressive about that stat is that none of his goals are penalties. I would take him anyday at Chelsea, but not only would Levy never sell to us, I think just about any attacker in the PL besides those from Norwich would get into our starting XI.

I think Son is hugely respected in England - I’d have loved him at City but he’s signed a long term contract with Spurs and seems happy there.
Really thought after our luck with strikers that we couldn't fail with Lukaku, yeah he wasn't AMAZING for United but he still had a respectable record of 28 goals in 66 appearances, but no he just hasn't clicked at all with our system.
