The Football Season 24/25: 115 Reasons For Man City Not To Win Anything

The January window could be interesting... especially now we dont have Dan Ashworth so it'll be on Jason Wilcox & the scout network.
Maybe, but it seems like the finances are pretty tight. There's part of me that hopes they can get Napoli to recall Osimhen from Galatasaray and loan him to them instead. But that's maybe a long shot. Generally I think it's going to depend on outgoings though. They signed that Paraguayan for next season but I really hope they somehow manage to get another left-back as soon as possible.

Osimhen demands a massive salary. Ineos already stated those days are over and they want to find the next Osimhen (or whoever) on lower wages.

True, it does feel like he would be better suited to a team that just needs that one final piece and can afford to spend a good chunk of their budget for that window on him. Whereas United need a bunch of positions sorted. So United are going to have to be smarter about how they spend their budget, which hasn’t exactly been a strength of theirs recently.

I don't understand the merry-go-round of managers. Like when there was big Sam, Pardew, Redknapp etc all failing at one relegation fodder prem club and within a few months moving to another relegation fodder prem club... Rinse and repeat. Same happening with Rooney, he's failed at clubs multiple times, why hire him? Why not find someone in a foreign club, who's been successful, hire them, even it's it's a lower league club in France, Holland or Spain. Find someone successful. They might be the next SAF/Pep/Klopp/Wenger.

Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.
Ah man... all them legends you mentioned above, now they just go for some foreign bloke and hope for the same.

I miss the days a big Sam being parachuted in round about now. Now its some bloke called Slavan Digivc till the end of the season.

I don't think Man Utd will be relegated, but they're going to finish in the bottom 10.

The defence is diabolical. My son's Sunday league team can defend better than this Utd team. Onana is a poor Goalkeeper, but even worse with that shite defence in front of him.

The rest of the players don't look like they want to be there. There's no urgency in their play at all.

Amorim has walked into an impossible job.
At this rate he'll be manager in the Championship[p with them.

Not anymore since Rooney unsurprisingly got sacked. Great player, but a fucking awful manager. I don't think he'll be managing any club again.
