It's a real shame resident evil had gone first person going forwards.

I also miss the fixed camera/over the shoulder perspective of earlier entries. I prefer to see the player character in most games. Capcom should at least give you the option to switch between first and third person, as opposed to separating them in the remakes and sequels.

Maybe not the remake version tho, i think re rebirth version is the best.

I mean, it's not like there is much choice, re protagonist are all cookie cutter puddle deep characters...
