Probably neither. I played the BF6 beta and while the shooting was good the maps are too small. I prefer a single player experience more. Arc Raiders has a cool look but I don't know if I am ready for the GAAS again.
 
Neither honestly, both look fine, arc raiders isn't for me and BF6 just seems like a shitty soulless 2042 reskin, I'll be playing blops 7 on Gamepass, same as everyone else.

With Gamepass being a thing, If you want upfront (non-deep sale) money from me personally for non-indie games these days you have to totally blow the doors off like red dead 2, BG3, path of exile 2 or GTA VI.

ARC Raiders and I'm not concerned about BF6 in the least bit. Embark has made the next great GAAS giant, while EA has made just another Battlefield.

Why? The tech test did gangbusters. Lot of positivity around this one.

I expect a decent sized launch then a steady audience for the year at the very least, as long as the support is there.

If the Arc Raiders open test thing is available on PS5 then I will check it out, but I am not really interested in investing time and money into new GaaS IP's.
 
Probably BF6, I liked the beta and I have several friends who'll be getting it.
I like the visual style of Arc Raiders but the concept of extraction shooters sounds incredibly unappealing to me so it's an easy skip.
 
Been hyped for ARC Raiders since the beta, while the BF beta did the opposite to me (need bigger maps, otherwise it's just COD with a BF skin).

I don't know if I can find the time for ARC, though, as I got back into GW2 earlier this month and the next GW2 expansion comes out 2 days before ARC. lol

I don't even notice tbh. I literally only play nuketown 24/7 and stakeout 24/7. Games last like 5 mins and they are fun as hell. I havent even seen most of the maps. Is this a retarded way to play this game? Very likely.
 
After that beta I am all over BF6. I will admit Arc raiders did peak my interest a bit after I saw a trailer for it a while ago, but it's not even on the radar with BF there now.

BF6 a reskin? What does that make Blops 7?

I'll be buying BF6 day one, Gamepassing Blops 7 (I'm a COD whore), and haven't even heard of the other game.
 
I'll be getting both. BF6 will hopefully serve as a fun, simple mp game I'll be playing now and then. But these days I'm enjoying the intensity of extraction shooters way more than any other mp experience. The playtest of Arc Raiders was fire, really looking forward to playing it again.

COD is pretty much the same game every year, one which I play btw.

Nobody mentioned the size of the respective franchises.

I'm only nice to studios and franchises I dislike or don't care about. If I feel the creative merit can be better, I'll rip and tear the shit out of their products. These are pure for-profit ventures it's ridiculous to be nice about any of this.

A weak BF means a weak COD means weak shit gaming, surrounding DICE devs with retarded clapping seals from reddit means you get BF2042, that's the path of Concord, of despair, it fucks with the balance of things. BF6 should comfortably be trading blows with the COD market share, but it won't, because EA loves their clapping seals too much. If you care about the art, you're morally obligated to be a dick to them, clarky.

IMO, COD has been pretty rubbish since Cold War. The only ones I have truly enjoyed were Vanguard (wasn't sure for a long time but it grew on me), and some maps in MW2.

A reskin of blops 6 is the last thing I want (but likely what we're getting). Same engine, same match making, same (extended even) omni-movement.

BF6 will easily be my fave game of the year - I'm that confident after the beta and the changes they have been making since.
