been looking at this game for some time now, but I can't decide if I'd fly once and get bored with repetition. What are some gaffer's opinions if you have tried?

I am not one for Sims, but I do enjoy something sim-lite like the Ace Combat series and even a little War Thunder here or there.

Should i been trying this game?

Honestly... i wanted too but I wasnt sure if it was gonna be like, a whole thing... so I went with ambiguous

Since I derailed your thread, it seems only fair that I contribute to it.

Physical copies of this are no longer dirt cheap. I don't want to just throw money away on something I hate within 2 minutes.
My racing tastes lie in the PGR-Midnight Club realm. I like driving physics that lean more towards arcade behavior, and I prefer shorter city-based races and the freedom to choose my event.
Will I like this game?

With hundreds of hours of XCOM 1 & 2, games like this look interesting, but then I wonder if I'd have more fun just playing XCOM again for the nth time with new constraints, difficulty, or mods.
