Haven't been paying attention is there any new car tech or something to make this year more interesting than last years? I don't really care about Hamilton in red, is that even a decent car this year?

McLaren still very dominant as expected, but tomorrow is supposed to be a wet race so who knows what will happen.
RBR once again proving they only care about building a perfect car for Max and/or fail to understand why the second driver is struggling. Wouldn't be surprised if Hadjar gets promoted before the end of the season.
Williams with a very positive surprise, but we'll still see how's their race pace.
Ferrari can probably go ahead and start saying that next year will be their year (and start to regret spending a billion dollars on Lewis).

Surprised Dubai hasn't squeezed its way in yet...

Abu Dhabi is last every year so UAE is covered.

The US having multiple GPs is a big push for popularity, i dont think an Abu Dhabi GP + a Dubai GP brings more fans to the sport.
Hell I dont even particularly like the Abu Dhabi GP, I only watch because the last few years major decisions are decided at it, otherwise they could replace it with near literally any of the GPs that have been recently dropped.

Basically all the cars are within a second of each other.
If a driver sneezes the whole order of the grid could change.
Beyond standouts like McLaren(for now), betting on positions is practically pointless.....every race is nerve wrecking.
Hell for Australia Yuki Tsunoda in the RB is 5th, Alex Albon in the Williams is 6th.

P.S After about half length last year the season was absolutely amazing.........and no it wasnt a 2022 hangover, 2023 saw a lot of team grind and get really close to each other.
And this seaosn has opened with a bunch of teams really close to each other.
Beyond like Stake Kick I fully expect every team to have some good points hauls, making the midfield the really highlight.

I think Piastri is gonna have a great yr (hope this does not age like milk!)
Gonna be interesting watching the rookies on the first few laps

Btw anyone else think the sky coverage sucks now ? I still like Martin Brundle and Ted Kravitz but Ive started to prefer the f1 tv coverage ...imho the best was the BBC coverage with Brundle, Coulthard and Eddie Jordan

Crofty has become really annoying lately. Thinking about switching to the F1TV team now that I've resubscribed.

Well that was a pretty exciting race.
Lando did great
Piastri makes too many mistakes. He may be fast but doesn't matter if you fk up your race.
Good stuff from antonelli...
Lewis is washed 😔😔
Ferrari strategy calls .. Jesus Christ
Lawson 🗑️🚮
Albon showing up... I have high hopes for Williams this year.
