Dunno why it does't work by link, but by upload it works fine for me.

It's too wide. GAF avatars have a maximum of 100px wide by 120px height. Yours is 116 wide by 92 height.

There is no need to "avatarize" the picture, I could do it myself, but if you want to do the full job, may I have a 150x150 version of the avatar (besides the usual 120x100)?

Nothing. Except letting GAF resize it for you makes it lose any transparency it might have had. Plus you would probably need to edit the image any way to make sure it looks nice at those dimensions.

Besides those, you won't be able to brag that you have a, for example, genuine MikeHattsu™ avatar. A big loss if you ask me.
