Ok, my request is pretty big/tricky/a pain in the backside.

The avatar I currently have is actually me, in a Master Chief outfit. I look awesome, I know. What I wanted to do was have the same figure cut out and made puppet sized, sitting on my lap.

Is it even possible? I don't think so...

Prove me wrong, people with Photoshop skillz that I sorely lack.

The only way I could do it is by blur. Given a higher res. source image, it might e possible to do something, though.

Edit: Hmm, The Antialias filter in GIMP improved things a little, then again, perhaps not, now that I see it on GAF:

We don't really draw new ones or find things for you. Perhaps do a Google image search, find something you like and give us the link and then we can crop it to avatar dimensions for you. Also let us know if you want transparent background, a border, which way you want the character/s to face and if you want only one character or certain parts of the picture to be present.
