Yeah. The traffic is always getting in my way
i'm secretly hoping for the game to unlock at midnight....but i have no idea if it works like that
They should really add a countdown like steam for pre-orders :/
It's painful right? Such a slow way of having to do it, but I couldn't figure out a better way either. Did it last night and it took about 10-15 minutes just to add some free cars...
I've encountered some glitches while playing, but this is already my GOTY so far. I spent an hour doing laps in a certain area over and over, and another hour in one of the races that took place in the rain. Had fun drifting around corners while attempting to break my previous skill chain.
And it's also really fun by simply going as fast as you can, as long as you can without running into anything. Once I found that highway that seems to stretch on forever, I spent a good amount of time there racing back and forth while dodging traffic at full speed.

Ha! I meant the game itself crashing.

I know but my frankly awful sense of humor couldn't resist. I have not personally had any crashes but I have been experiencing some slow down in some of the menus here and there. Thankfully no hard locks, though. I'm digital and the standard dashboard.
Had the game crash once on me in photo mode. Also the game doesn't quit when I'm turning the console off. Strange stuff.

I don't have the game yet but I'd love to know if I can "borrow" other people's designs from some centralized in-game download list. That GAF poster's Jurassic Park jeep looked amazing.If so... man, would love some kind of Nintendo-themed cars too.

I don't play with rewinds and just spent over two hours to finally complete that one. Figured I'd upload the video for anyone interested in seeing my method.
I also just noticed I put the wrong Bucket List # on my file name. Oh well.

I realized about halfway through my attempts that turning on rewinds would have made it much easier as I had some very close runs before finally getting it.
You'll see me switch views often. I never play from the cockpit camera and prefer pulled out but for some reason I felt the game handled things slightly differently from the cockpit view. I was more easily able to maneuver and squeeze through places but I seemed to get more glancing blows off of trees instead of coming to a dead stop. But I constantly would flip over right at the very start in cockpit view so I'd start with the pulled back camera. And I switched in the middle to more easily position myself for the trees and going under the overpass. And lastly any time I stayed in cockpit coming up to the end I always misjudged the entrance and would slam into some portion of the wall or come in at a terrible angle.
When cutting it frame-by-frame to shorten the video I noticed that it hit 0.0 on the timer at 14 yds to go and with it taking three frames to go down each tenth of a second I would have ran out of time at 10 yds remaining. I think I squeezed that one frame perfect for when the game determined I beat it because it was on the third frame that the UI cleared for distance.
That challenge is terrible but now I have a pretty thorough understanding of the trees in that area and have a decent chance of getting through it again if I wanted to.
Level dependant. The last one didn't appear until I hit level 90

Mix of both? Where the path cuts across right there you're bound to always get a bounce and it's pretty much a crapshoot how it'll turn out. A ton of my runs were ruined by how that bounce turned out. Generally I'd try to aim as best as I could and then just ride it out.
Honestly I felt luckier during the second forest section when I got two glancing hits off trees before entering the field. One of those hits would have regularly stopped me up just about completely but instead I was able to keep rolling through.
The last glancing hit I took right before the open stretch at the end was due to nerves. I typically can blaze through the forest section after the overpass without hitting anything but I knew my run was going to be really close with how smooth the overpass section went and so I was jittery going into that forest.

Twice yesterday morning. Had to uunplug the xbox, got mad and went to work.
But havent had any crashes since. Played for a few hours last night.
Love this game. Some of the pop up is annoying (had a few cars and an entire building appear right in front of me) but overall game of the year. Oh, and they need more of those events where you race planes, trains, etc. Theyre so good.
