I think the little leaderboards must be one of the things they have cut off to reduce server load. Everything from boards smashed to roads driven have had their friend comparisons removed.

Maybe I'm wrong then.. But I swore the jdm '05 still had the old front grille style that the '04 and '05 had. I'm looking at a YouTube video right now that says I'm right... I'm confused!

I posted earlier asking if anyone has been playing the 360 version but haven't seen any replies. I received my copy today and played around 2 hours. I definitely am enjoying my purchase!. I do not have an Xbox 1 yet and therefore cannot compare versions. This is therefore intended for any one else who is wondering about the 360 version who might be lurking here. Essentially this game feels a lot like Horizon 1 and for me, that's a good thing. I have made it as far as the first city in France.

I was not concerned as much about the graphics so the graphical differences between systems is a non-factor. That being said, graphically FH1 and FH2 are more or less equivalent. The countryside is more sparse but the car models remain more or less the same.

All of the race types from H1 are intact. The showcase missions also return but I only see 4 listed. I hope there are more than 4. I kind of miss not moving up the leaderboard anymore but the experience point system that replaced the leaderboard works. The new perk system is interesting but I am not sure if they're in any way essential. Besides minor cash reward buffs, most of the perks aren't that exciting to me. I haven't tried the bucket list missions as of yet but look forward to attempting them soon. There are now 150 signs to crash through for discounts. Finally, there are still barn finds and I found my first barn find before quitting out to write this mini-review.

So I definitely feel the xbox360 version was worth the purchase and I only slightly envy my newer gen friends. I really hope the prev gen gets some of the DLC lovin' the xb1 version has already received in the near future.

I love this game but I'm having a strange problem. I just cannot hear ANNA or the announcer unless I plug in my headphones to the controller, even if I unhook the headset adapter from the controller and hard reset the console, still nothing.


Anyone else having this problem?

I haven't had one problem with this game yet. Day before it came out I preordered and installed it. About 9:03 or so pst while watching TV my X1 told me that FH2 was ready to play. Have not had one single problem yet.

GOTY so far.

Roads are gray that you haven't been on. The only issue could be that it appears to "fill" a small portion of side roads if you drive near enough when passing on another through-road so if you're missing two tiny roads that connect between other routes they may appear completely filled in if you passed by each side of them?

But otherwise just turn off all the map icon filters and zoom in on the map to find your missing roads.

Glad I could I help a few of my lagging 360 brothers. My big fear, particularly after the lack of reviews was the game would be fundamentally broken or otherwise awful. Fortunately, it's neither. At worst, you can fault the less spectacular countryside scenery and/or lack of new game altering features. Otherwise its very solid so far and delivering a very solid "Forza" experience.

Wow, screwy servers alright. VIP cars for me keep going from zero to full price, downing skins isn't working, buying free cars takes forever, and social features are working one moment, grayed out the next. Someone over at MS is having a bad night.

Yeah servers were conking out before I hopped off for the night. Photos not uploading, liveries not downloading, etc.

For people having VIP issues.

I had to uninstall VIP and also my car pass and day one car pack just in case. After it finished re downloading them VIP came up automatically.

So at what point do we have the chance to join a club? In the menu it is always greyed out for me. I am at Level 8 and still nothing.

Also, I have to say, that while the game is great, the issues are becoming a pain in the ass. There are constant server issues, my VIP is working, but have not got any of the VIP cars, non of the ultimate stuff I paid for has shown up as of yet as well.

It is actually a real cluster fuck honestly. Yeah, I know launch games have issues, but it's like they learned nothing from Forza 5's release with it's issues, but now it is even worse due to the frequent server issues.

I want to keep playing the game, but the tech issues are getting in the way of the enjoyment. Don't know how many times I go to menu and things are greyed out because of the server problems.

I wish the million people playing would get off so I can upload my freaking pictures, ha.

After a couple days I think this may be one of the best playing/controlling racers I've ever played.

VIP and free car pack now works for me as well, and I didn't have to re-install it after it not working earlier today. So silly that you have to scrounge around for your free cars though, just have a section for it!

Edit: This is ridiculous, there has to be an easy way right?
