:lol

I do believe that might've been the very first time Meg has ever introduced a flashback.

Stewie the Flying Squirrel?

Maybe that Rocky reference would have been funnier if I didn't see it coming from 20 miles away. OK, maybe not.

:lol "This country"

At least this episode is going in a different direction, from Steve seeking acceptance to Steve seeking vengeance.

I had forgotten about King of the Hill. Well, I didn't watch it anyway. I enjoyed the shows except for that new one. It's pretty lame.

Simpsons... meh

Family Guy had some funny stuff. Decent overall.

And American Dad, well, it's turning out to be one of my favorite animated shows ever with this nearly perfect run the last couple of seasons.

WTF? I just got American Dad Volume 4 on DVD, and FOX decided to package all 3 discs inside of a clear, regular sized DVD case so it doesn't match the earlier sets. Pretty lame.

Sounds like how they just repackaged the Buffy and Angel box sets.

The offhand remark regarding Kevin in Family Guy the other night was brilliant. Chris acting out the scene from Silence of the Lambs was especially fantastic, especially when you consider that Seth Green has admitted that Chris's voice is in part based on Buffalo Bill's. Here's the scene it's referencing (NSFW pubes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x81F28kPXuo

Even "bad" episodes of Family Guy end up having some great, hilarious moments. Too bad the same can't be said about The Simpsons.
