Frame City Killers Update (360) Screens

Yeah lets ignore all the pics and especially the gameplay movies which showed the amount of people on screen and make some dumb-ass comment!

Heian-kyo, as usual, you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
I have no idea what I'm talking about? Comedic gold.

Show me one shot, JUST ONE, that has anywhere near that amount of people on screen, complete with a HUD so as to confirm it's real time. I find it absolutely hilarious that you guys are blinding yourselves to the obvious differences between that ONE SINGLE screen and every single other in-game shot.

I've never witnessed a launch in which a core group of people so adamantly defend pretty much every single title as the 360 launch is turning out to be. Sad.

...is prerendered FMV, there is absolutely no question. The difference in picture clarity, texture detail and lighting complexity from EVERY single other screen should be enough to confirm this blatant fact as far as I'm concerned.

Picture clarity, texture detail, and lighting is exactly like every other screen.

The only difference is the number of models, and if you've seen any game using the cloning tricks that seem to be so popular right now there is nothing unbelievable about this screenshot.

I agree. Killzone 3 is going to be awesome.

No, you just don't know shit about graphics. That was where logic ended and absurdity began with your argument.

Here's a screencapture of that other girl from a slick Frame City Killer Hi-res trailer I hadn't seen before:

Trailer is here at a trailer collection offshoot of Worthplaying.com.

Looking forward to more regarding the game.

Look great to me. They HAVE to ditch those shades, though. That yellow stripe across the top just makes it look like something out of the mid-Eighties.

No one in their right mind can deny that this game isn't looking better than it was before, but it still isn't looking great. Sure it's better than current gen, but hell, it should be. I don't think a game of this magnitude is a wise choice for a launch title, and FCK's mediocrity is a perfect example of why. Sorta the same reason you don't see many RPG's at launch.

Wrong. Go watch the trailer and concentrate on NPC walking right into each other, cliping and AI miserbly trying to avoid other NPC (awkward 90 degree turns)

Its very much realtime

And what's wrong with the mid-Eighties? *peer* Honestly, that's part of what I'm liking about the look. :)

NICE.

Let's hope this game turns out good. This and PGR3 might actually tempt me to get Three $ixty as my second console.

The mid-eighties were fine.... you know... back in the mid-eighties. :p

The problem here is that much like how we currently view things from back then is that it looks stupid and tacky. :lol They could've pulled off the fact that his shades are special while still giving them a sleeker look. Especially since the game is supposed to be set in the future.

PGR i understand... but this game doesn't help tempt me to spend $400. :p

Maybe that's how you view the 80's, but some of us old-timers look back on that era with fondness. Gamers are getting older, remember? ;)

Actually, I think that has a lot to do with why I like the design for Crow. He looks like he could be in his mid-late 30's, which would make him around my age, and he's wearing a suit with what looks like a pair of Oakleys from my highschool days. I can relate to the retro vibe Namco's got going on there. :p All he needs now is a narrow tie and he'd be good to go. ;)

Ok... i take back what i said in this thread.

I saw the HD trailer and the game looks pretty good. It could still use some work but looks good anyways

yah it is looking better and better. Hopefully they will fix some of the problems like low res textures here and there and it will look pretty damn good with all of the people running around in the city.
