I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Win.

And I thought a shower puff and a loofah were the same thing...

I'm not sure if that or the business card scene is the best.

Take at least 2-3 showers a day

Soap: Dial
Shampoo : Garnier Fructis
Conditioner : Garnier Fructis
Toothpaste : Arm & Hammer Advance White
Toothbrush : Colgate (Orange and blue) :D
Deodorant : Axe Essence

Soap : I think Dove, though I also use body wash (Old-Spice)

Shampoo : Head and Shoulders or Garnier Fructis (I switch on and off)

Conditioner : See above. Not using two-in-ones is too inconvenient.

Toothpaste : Colgate Total (I'm suckered in by the 12 hour cleansing thing)

Toothbrush : Some electric Oral B (just the round brush)

Anti-persperant : Tom's of Maine Natural Unscented (no aluminum)

Cologne : When I do use it, Aqua di Gio.

Shaving : Gillette Fusion (non-powered) and its corresponding gel (moisturizing version). I get the blades in huge packs from bulk stores to avoid having my wallet raped.

Shower in the morning and evening if I go for a run or something, but otherwise just once per day. I also carry the Listerine Breath Spray with me everywhere. It's awesome and necessary to combat coffee breath.

Body Wash:
Some charcoal soap..

Shampoo:
Five Stars+Herbal Essence conditioner

Toothpaste:
Listerine.

ToothBrush
:
Colgate..the one with the tongue cleaner.

Shaver:
Gillete something something. Shave only when I need to.

Deodorant:
Da Vinci..smells nice..

Also use face scrub..

I started shaving with a brush and shaving soap with hot water, made a WORLD of difference in my shaving habits.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6886845/

This article is what turned me on to this in the first place.

A cheap brush (which work fine) is like 6-8 bucks I have used badger hair brush once, and it rocked, and they range from 30 bucks to 300 bucks, and the soap is 97 cents a bar (Mug Soap) and it lasts forever. also, follow the directions above for an AWESOME shave.

The absolute KEY is to have your face REALLY wet before you put on the soap.

I thought that squeaky clean was a bad sign, because it meant that you stripped your skin of all of its oils (thereby kicking it into oil production overdrive). And isn't Dove recommended by dermatologists?

My daily shower goes like this.

Get in, wash my hair.

Then I brush my teeth for 2 minutes with a cheap motor brush and flouride toothpaste, and then I grab the shower head and do a deep cleaning on my tongue with the toothbrush and hot water.

Then I wash my body with a coarse rag and Aloe body soap.

It's important that you wash your body last.

The secret is to eat the soap and wash it down with some shampoo. It then releases through your pores, thus doing the job from the inside out. Don't worry, the shampoo will release through your head pores, and the soap throughtout the rest of your body. I don't know how, but I imagine it's done much in the same way that Tylenol knows what part of your body to ease your pain. For bonus points, eat Dove. I promise you you'll never have a smoother shit. Plus it smells wonderful too. Unlike regular soap-free shit--obviously.

And what, exactly, is wrong with this? I mean, I use pretty absorbent rags. I don't see the problem.

Maybe I should have said washcloth.
My bad. I was thinking of like a bathroom rag @_@

These are the kinds of people I can make go crazy. I can keep you in the bathroom for hours on end with the info I have!

I start with the Dove soap, unscented always. Shampoo and Conditioner I use aloe vera shampoo with vitamin E to keep the hair soft & manageable. I use a light exfoliator, pre-shave oils, badger hair brushes, and lavender shaving cream. I use eye moisturizer, non-alcoholic shave balms, and sea mineral hand lotion. I do the after shave mask once in a while.

I brush with Aquafresh (nothing with whitening as it removes your enamel), floss after every brush, Listerine, and a small tongue cleaner. At night I follow with peroxide and water before bed as a mouthwash.

For the pits I always try to use something organic with very little scent. Sometimes I just end up buying the Dove brand's unscented.

Body Soap: Oil of Olay or Dove. Those creamy soaps leave your skin feeling so smooth.

Shampoo: Pantene Pro-V or Aveda Rosemary Mint. It's like a cooling breath mint for your scalp. And it smells amazing.

Toothpaste: ATM, I'm using Colgate Luminious(The tropical purple one)

Mouthwash: Crest Pro Health or plain ol' Listerine.

Shaving: I don't use razors right now. I have a norelco kit that I use to keep my facial hair cut to either a 1 or a 2. Works great on the balls, too.

Floss: those individual plastic flossers.

I also use gold bond medicated body powder. It's great for the balls and inner thigh. Great protection against chaffing in the summer.

I dont use any fancy face washes. I usually just use the dove soap and a loofa on my face. I was blessed with great skin and rarely get pimples. But I do occasionally buy oxy pads because I like the way they make my face feel.

Cologne: Acqua di Gio for formal and Kirra for a casual everyday smell-good.

Body Wash - some new Irish Spring green stuff. Usually Axe though

Shampoo - Garnier Fructis, and ONLY Garnier Fructis. When you start seeing all your friends losing their hair or receding and you still have a full head of hair you start taking care of it better.

Conditioner - still Garnier Fructis. I try to buy the packs at Wal-mart with the shampoo and bottle of conditioner free

Deodorant - Degree

Toothpaste - Crest Whitening

Razor - Fusion

Body Wash:
Irish Spring bar soap. Shower twice a day except on weekends, when I shower in the morning and have a hot bath at night.

Shampoo:
Whatever's on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart when I go to pick up shampoo. I keep my hair quite short, so I don't find the shampoo makes much of a diff.

Toothpaste:
At least twice a day people, if not the recommended three. You should floss at least once a day as well. Take care of your teeth! You don't get any more! I use Sensodyne toothpaste, as my teeth are rather sensitive.

ToothBrush:
I just use whatever I got at my last dentist visit. It's not the brush, but how you use it.

Shaver:
Mach 3. Now and forever.

Deodorant:
RightGuard Extreme Sport. The best stuff around as far as I'm concerned.

I use a poofah and bar of soap to wash my body and a washcloth for my face, pits, sack, and crack. In that order. Then shave with whatever.

No hair washing; I go bald.

Brush teeth with whatever I bought, apply deodorant with whatever I bought.

It's a quick process, but it feels so good. How can people not shower everyday if they have the ability and time to do so?

Body Wash - Some type of Suave stuff.

Shampoo - Again some type of Suave.
Conditioner - Suave again.

Deodorant - Mitchum either unscented gel or unscented solid.

Toothpaste - Aquafresh Extreme

Razor - Mach 3 Turbo. Greatest razor in existence.

Cologne - DKNY Be Delicious for everyday use. John Varvatos for going out.

Body Wash: Suave whatever.

Soap: Dove (sometimes sensitive skin, sometimes not)

Shampoo & Conditioner: Depends. Either Suave or whatever I'm using that week.

Razor: Not enough facial hair to shave. I just use my hair trimmers, to take what little I have off, when I cut my hair.

Hair stuff: Soft n Sheen, to keep the waves flowing. I keep my hair cut low, and lined up all the time.

Cologne: Angel. Stuff is made of win, with a touch of christ.

Mascara: Well not really. But I need the brush to keep my eye lashes from curling into my eye at times. <3 my eyelashes. Natural curl ftw! >.>

Deodorant: Sure. The powder fresh variety.

Toothpaste & Toothbrush: Whatever I have. Usually from the dentist, or some random toothbrush from the store. I use the herbal expression toothpaste from Colgate, I think.

Man, I really hate shaving. I hate the whole process, but I may be tempted to try this out. I remember my grandpa using that stuff when I was young.

For the last year I've been using Cryogenically Tempered razors for my Quattro. They stay sharper longer, and give me a better shave than off the shelf ones. The extra cost isn't much considering that one box has lasted me almost 3 times longer than normal ones.

Yeah, I've used a poof for awhile myself. Just wish they'd make less feminine-looking colors. I want a poof that's camo or possibly has a picture of The Power Rangers on it.
I was at walmart buying a luffa the other day since I was moving, and among all the other pastel colors there was a black one with a skull attached to it.

Body Wash - Irish Spring. Sometimes Axe though

Shampoo - Head and Shoulders

Conditioner - None

Deodorant - Old Spice *fresh*

Toothpaste - Crest Whitening

Razor - Fusion

I don't know how people can shower 3+ times a day. Where do you guys find the time? Plus the laundry...
I wish I could shower every day sometimes but I don't nessarily have that luxury a certain times a month :/

Also, someone mention that they washed their hair everyday and doesn't that dry your scalp out?

So am I the only one who uses Lotion(ususally coco butter) after I shower. I does wonders for your skin and the smell goes away after like 1 hour.

I forgot to post that. I use lotion all of the time. The type really depends on what I buy. Its either stuff with Aloe Vera, Anti-aging lotion, or stuff with vitamins to keep my skin looking young, and the ash away. I have really soft skin. lolz

After I shower I use reg. dry skin lotion on my face, neck, and behind teh ears bc I have COMBO!!! skin.

The reason why Dove makes some people's face feel greasy is because it is one quarter lotion. If you naturally have oily skin then stay away. However, if you have problems with dry skin then it works really well.

I don't shave. I have very coarse hair and I use a Peanut to go over my face. The person that cuts your hair likely uses it to do minor trimming and to remove hair off the back of your neck. It leaves a very slight stubble. I have dark hair and it doesn't do me any good to shave anyway. Why subject my skin to a razor when I'm going to have a five o'clock shadow in an hour anyway?

Body washes really depend and it doesn't really matter as long as it doesn't irritate my skin.

Toothpaste and the brush. Whatever is on sale, really.

Deodorant: Old Spice. Not the solid, but the soft solid.

Cologne: Armani Mania or Jean Paul Gaultier.

I use bar soap with a loufa (spelling?) I HATE bodywash I never feel quite as clean as I do with the bar soap / loufa combo - I dunno body wash has that sticky feeling IMO. Plus Zest smells the best.

Also I always shampoo and condition - usually I shower twice a day, before work and after the gym.

Q.B.D - Que-Tips, Brush, Deoderant.

Always floss and use mouthwash. And that's pretty much the standard, I use some other shit too - but I'll leave it out of this thread ;p

sorry to bump this but, do you guys think is totally cool that men wax their legs/entire body?

i ask because this week TWO of my mates told me that they wax their legs with one of those shower creams stuff thingy, just for the sake of it.... they're not models nor they play sports. i don't know, i think it's kinda weird. i'm ok with clean torso´s and back (i actually do it) but i think legs is just too metro, too robertsan... and a wee bit gay.

awesome

and I dont have a set pattern to how I do things, it depends on various things.

but I always do start out the morning with tooth care and washing off my face, then making sure my glasses are perfectly clear (which they are never). I end my day with brushing, but no mouthwash or waterpik.

depending on if I shower in the morning or at night, I have different shampoo, one has this stuff that wakes you up and burns your face, the second is normal.

and ALWAYS DOVE SOAP, DOVE SOAP IS AMAZING.

can someone recommend me a good electric shaver? i'm getting too lazy to apply shaving foam and then use a blade to shave every morning

don't make the same mistake i did. electric shavers suck, sadly you'll always get a better shave from blades.

i got a Remington shaver and it actually takes me like 20min to get a decent shave. those things never get close enough.

What's better for deodorant, a solid or a gel?

I'm thinking about trying Mitchum...their commercials are getting to me.

what do u recommend for shaving your balls? Electric or manual?

I find electric irritates the skin, and im too scared to try a normal blade. Its also a difficult surface to effectively shave, you have to go at it from about a million different angles, and youre still left with stubble

i bought that phillips bodygroomer. i found no irritation or anything when i shaved my balls

"Puffy"? What do you mean... like you slept on it strangely, and it's swollen?

As for shaving, I prefer doing it in the evening. Yes, it's true!
