Jason Goes to Hell is fun. It doesn't make a lot of sense and doesn't match the cannon set up in the other 8 films but taken by itself it's fun. Really fun. Great gore in that flick, some of the best in the franchise.

Part 8 is a guilty pleasure, I wouldn't put it in my top 5 of the franchise. But it has its moments and it does have a sense of humor about it, it just wasn't as successful as Part 6. Also, probably nostalgia plays a role in why I kinda' like it, Parts 7 and 8 were my introduction to the franchise.

I don't like Jason Goes to Hell much at all. It's the worst one in the series in my opinion. Jason X also isn't very good, but I didn't loathe it like a lot of others did. It's far from being a good movie, though.

I enjoy the other Friday the 13th movies each time I watch them, but 3, 1 and 6 are probably the best IMO. 5 isn't that great, 8 is hit and miss. 7 is pretty good, though.

My favourite kill is probably when he picks up the sleeping bag and slams it into the tree, but I can't remember which movie it's from.

(Please don't enter me into the contest. I already have them all on DVD.)

I have a thing for sequels that do something different. I feel the same way towards Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Jason leaping in the Lake.
Classic jump scare.

I think this scene creeps everyone out.
And for that I will always love it.

I have tons of favorite moments from the 13th series, as I've seen them all more times than I can count, but that one takes the cake. The first time I saw that, I was honestly in tears laughing. The comment from the robot along the lines of "Damn, he's good" added to that bout of laughter.

Easily my favorite horror movie ever. I had this recorded on VHS from Cinemax when I was a kid from the late 80's and watched this so many times as a kid it's absurd. It still holds up extremely well today, with some funny dialog, great atmosphere and damn scary looking demons. It's the perfect "Dumb teens go to a creepy place, shit goes down, get trapped and can't get out" horror movie IMO.

I forgot to mention my favourite horror movie as part of my non-entry. Not that it matters, though, but here goes:

Black Christmas (the original, not the bastardizing remake)
