I've learned a ton about multiplayer options and headset settings. This game has gotten me playing live more than any game since Halo 3.I picked this game up over the weekend and now I'm hooked. Recently, I discovered Friday the 13th clubs on Xbox -- Now, I can always get into a full lobby in seconds -- and get this: Everyone has a mic. Can't believe it took me this long to discover Xbox clubs.
So after saying stalk is pointless naturally tonight I use it and it was great.
I was walking towards a cabin, the last two counsellors inside discussing their last stand. I can hear them as i approach the cabin and put my stalk. To my astonishment the cabin door isn't even locked. I stroll inside and casually walk up behind them. They freak out I grab one and nail him to the wall lol.
Maybe someone with more time can check, but can you get all of the movies cheaper individually or are some not available on BluRay outside of the collection?

Had my first real negative experience tonight and its left me feeling pretty down and dissappointed in myself.
I joined a game that had a group of active talkers, about 5 or so of the 8 had mics and were chatting away, there was a group of like 3 younger guys who seemed to know each other, myself and another guy.
They were all quite new to the game it seemed, on my playthrough as Jason I despatched them all really easily and when they were all dead I heard them saying what a good Jason I was.
Things were going well, a talkative group, a host who didn't quit when he was the first to die. Then things quickly went sour.
A new round started and I was in a building, see two counsellors running to my location as out of the blue someone playing as Brandon starts team killing the other player. Team killers suck, so I try to shoot him with my shotgun for being a jackass and miss, I now have no weapon so I run away, eventually I escape via the cops.
When I get back to the lobby I hear this older guy spouting racial slurs because the guy was playing as Brandon. Telling these younger, impressionable kids to kill him only he used another word which I'm sure you can imagine to describe him.
The team killer's name had the word mexico in it, and then this guy starts calling him racial names towards people from mexico. I hear these younger kids chuckling and this older asshole seeming to think it was so cool he had a platform to spout his racial hate nonsense.
I wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up but I couldn't. I kind of froze and quietly quit out the game. Totally ruined my night and I wish I had said something and stood up to him. Now I feel like an asshole.
Sooooooo... dont shoot at jason if ANYONE IS ANYWHERE BEHIND HIM. i kinda accidentally shot someone that way thinking id save them
Is there a solid PS4 Gaf community for this game? I've watched alot of streams and this game looks really fun, unfortunately none of my current friends list (mostly DestinyGAF) picked it up and I'd love to play with as few "randoms" as possible if I pick this up in the next couple of days
Yeah one guy got pissed at me saying who kills the host first? Im like me, then i killed his ass. He quit. The absolute worst is when you finally get to be Jason, manage to teleport right in the middle of a big group of counselors, off a couple, then the host gets pissed and just stops the game. Such bullshit.
Will they ever patch this thing? It really pisses me off when we start a game and the host decides to leave.I can't believe that a game in 2017 has this kind of mp.The absolute worst is when you finally get to be Jason, manage to teleport right in the middle of a big group of counselors, off a couple, then the host gets pissed and just stops the game. Such bullshit.

I really hope host migration is coming soon
Is there a way to tell who the host is? I've never noticed. The hell? Who looks up the host and thinks to themselves that? I'm Jason dammit!

Ahhh ok. I don't pay much attention while waiting. Learn something new. I don't understand why PC needs a host when there are supposedly dedicated servers. He or she is the one with the Red Triangle next to their name.

So, I know it's bragging but I like to think I've gotten pretty good as Jason at this point. I'm usually killing everyone or only allowing one survivor, and it's really rare when multiple people survive. My quick tips for Jason players (probably 'yeah duh' stuff but whatever)
- Take out the power generators early, preferably at the very start of the game. Taking out the power helps make the counselors a little more scared and thus slightly easier to pick up with your sense. On top of that they should get a minor hit in stamina regen since they aren't in light anymore. Taking out the power also stops them from calling Tommy Jarvis which, at least temporarily, prevents you from being killed.
- The common thing I see Jason's do at the start of the game is morph to one of the cars at the start of the game, scare off anyone who's there right away, maybe score an early kill, and then lay traps around the car. Honestly I try to avoid doing this and try to give players the hope of fixing the car up first. If you trap up the car too early I've noticed that players will avoid the car entirely for a good chunk of the game (or come back once they can disarm traps). Personally I like to let the car stay a viable escape option, because as the game progresses it's going to become a gathering point for players as the car gets closer to being completed. That way you can morph in on them and have your shift ready to get a few kills on counselors that are attempting to fix the car. Save trapping the car for when they've already put gas and/or the battery in.
- Frequently check the map, especially if there is a boat in play. It's amazing how many Jasons let people escape via boat because they don't check their map and see the boat icon moving. If you get the jump on players trying to escape via boat it's basically two free kills.
- Stalk is your friend. Most of us here had this discussion yesterday but if you have a counselor trapped in a cabin, break a few windows, then stay out of their line of site and activate stalk. After a few moments the person in the cabin will almost certainly walk outside right towards you. It's also great if you know a counselor is about to walk around a corner.
- Late game, if you're hunting one or two surviving players and one of them is female - check Jason's cabin. Something I've been seeing lately is that female counselors will try to go for the sweater late game purely for the stun ability, or in general hover around Jason's cabin since it's usually an out of the way location that most Jason players don't revisit unless they get the alert from Mom.

I don't think this advice will be useful for much longer for a couple reasons. When you activate Stalk it immediately shuts off the music so unless you walk away from the counselor and then activate you just gave away that you're stalking. And walking away means you can't hide behind a corner waiting to pounce. People won't be oblivious to this for long. I'm hoping it gets a buff that gradually (though quickly) turns down the music. Also, Morph causes VHS static so that tactic should only work on people who just started playing.
Good list except for the fact about not trapping the car. I used to not do that because trapping it caused the game to hit a standstill and made for a boring match since no one would even go for the car. I find it fun as Jason in letting players get the car because stopping or chasing the car made for some exciting moments instead of just hunting players the whole match. So, I know it's bragging but I like to think I've gotten pretty good as Jason at this point. - Trap that phone fuse box, can't always count on the audio clue when someone screws up the fuse box installation.
