Frontal headache after eating?

I went to Vegas this weekend and had some BAD frontal headaches while I was there. Since I've returned, I have been getting headache after headache, and it's driving me nuts. The headache seems to get worse after eating, and at night.

Is it likely that I have a sinus infection? An allergy? Caffeine withdrawal, even though I drank at most one extra cup of coffee a day while I was there? Am I going to die?

Oh, while you were sleeping I used some gas to make sure you stayed asleep and shoved some crayons up your nose. Sorry.

Is that why everything smells like periwinkle today? DAMN YOU! <SHAKES FIST>

I had the same thing happening to me a few years ago. The Dr. diagnosed me with Hypoglycemia. Changing my diet took care of things for a while.

Unfortunately, I now have totally unrelated cluster headaches. What a bitch.

Do people not have insurance on this board? I can understand if you're one of the cannucks and have to wait a while, but otherwise just call the nurse for your insurance and she'll likely have you hit an emergency room or schedule a doctor's appointment.

Well, it's only persisted for a couple of days, and I HAVE admittedly been out of my usual routine as far as sleep/coffee/stress/water. When I say "bad," it's not yet "alien baby about to pop out of my skull" bad. I'll be more than glad to go to the doctor at that point...if it gets to that point.

The hypoglycemia theory is a good one...

Why in God's name would you wait till that point! You PAY for insurance each and every paycheck. They aren't doing you a favor by seeing you...

I've always wanted to give birth to an alien baby.

You know, sometimes home remedies can be useful for coping while you're setting that doctors appointment and waiting for it. It also helps to walk into the doctors office with as much information as you can gather, such as what helped or didn't.

At any rate, I can only say that recently I've found that taking a Centrum gives me a decently strong headache... although I took one every other day while I was broke and had little to eat. The only thing I could come up with was vitamin A or E overdose.

I don't want to worry you or anything, but I know of a woman that recently dropped dead from a blood clot in the brain. Friends and family said that she had been complaining about headaches for a few days before it happened.

Don't take any chances with this. If you're having constant headaches, get it checked out.
