TheDuce22 said:I notice it. I just think if you didnt have a problem with NFS you wont have a problem with Full Auto. The framerate issues are really similar.
op_ivy said:personally, i found the frame rate to be better in the full auto demo then the nfs demo....

Finally, a point which most people can agree on, is where the hell are the arena levels? I understand it's combat racing, but to hear every person I played with asking about an arena level makes me wonder why the developers didn't think of it either.
Bebpo said:As evidenced by this thread. The fact that some people don't see problems with NFS's framerate is the same reason why some people don't see any problems with Full Auto. I used to think 30/60fps aside, everyone noticed always changing and dropping framerates...but I guess not ^^;

boutrosinit said:Some races require you to destroy enough stuff, as well as come first. This would be fine, except for the fact that the only expensive items in a level may be the cars you are racing, so you actually have to risk hanging back and destroying them before driving. It's a fundamentally broken system where you need to rely partly on luck.

Ok honestly I don't know what to think anymore. Either you guys have no idea what to look for, or something is wrong with my (and a lot of other people's) game copy or 360.Liquid said:i've been playing in HD all day and theres no more slowdown than in SD. holy crap this game looks good.

Jan said:I can see how anyone could like better Burnout than Full Auto. Are such a different approaches to the arcades racing and Full Auto offers so much more than BO.
Killing one car in Full Auto is way more regarding than in BO, destroying enviroment, jumping and using turbo, and driving. I never felt like you drive in BO. The game takes the curves for you . Full Auto isn´t a heavy driven game , but if you don´t take the curves carefully is easy you end crashing on the roof of some shop.

maybe you should stop playing crap like Full Auto and experience good games like Cod2 and Condemned then.
Look I know the guys at PI who made Full Auto and they're good guys but this game sucks.
Perhaps because Burnout actually has a driving model and is actually fun to play?Jan said:I can see how anyone could like better Burnout than Full Auto. Are such a different approaches to the arcades racing and Full Auto offers so much more than BO.

We must have a different idea of what "fun" is. Full Auto isn't fun. It's a boring, generic, slow paced attempt at action racing. The controls are shit, the game runs poorly, and the whole design is completely uninspired.Great Poster said:Next gen games should not be fun?
It drives like an arcade racer. The cars have weight to them and move like a physical object. Everything is obviously way over the top, but that works out beautifully in that case.Sorry sir , but the words drive and Burnout are a missmatch. You don´t drive a single second in Burnout , just move on rails some kind of space ship avoiding other cars.
TheDuce22 said:I havent had to risk hanging back because of the rubberband AI. The cars keep catching up to you and coming at you. Most of the missions dont require you to get many destruction points anyway, unless your going for the gold or silver which should be diffiuclt. As far as advancing through the game, I have yet to hit a point where I really needed them.

Not only am I unable to understand how anyone could prefer Full Auto to Burnout Revenge, I also do not understand how anyone could like Full Auto AT ALL.
The full version doesn't even really improve much on the demo. It has the same problems! I can't believe ANYONE is defending the framerate. Not ONLY is it crap, but by defending it, you are somehow justifying this sort of behavior on the part of developers. Full Auto represents everything next gen should NOT be.

Liquid said:yeah saying this game isnt fun is just nuts. totally different genre here but something like DOA4 is the very definition of unfun and not next gen. the gameplay hasnt been innovated since the first game, the players look no better than doa 3s and after all these years its still leagues behind the VF series all around. FA does a great job of providing great mindless fun. just like games of the old days. I cant believe that one of the review sites took points off because there was no story. does burn out have a story?
And for those still criticizing the controls i'm either thinking that you are still used to playing games like burnout where you really dont have to do much to drive or you're still basing opinions of of that half assed demo where there were only 2 cars. Each car handles differently and controls very well once you get the hang of it.
