Because GAFOffTopic loves it's animal stories here's some reports in the last few days,

The first was a python eating a Wallaby (small version of a kangaroo) and her baby.

The second is a brown snake (highly venomous) eating a python.

Ahh, the circle of life... or sumtin'.

and finally a feel good story of a tourist who was hospitalised after standing on a green tree snake. How rude.

Book you holiday to Australia now.

You get used to wrestling the giant snakes after awhile, it's really good for your chest muscles too!

thats why Roos are so swole

Snakes...are CUTE!

How the hell do you go to hospital after being bitten by a tree snake. They are nonvenomous and the cutest pet snakes to have. Also really bloody good to have in your trees to eat pests alongside carpet snakes in your roof to eat rats/mice.

I was wondering that! I'm no expert so I wasn't sure but I thought they weren't dangerous.

It was at a zoo so the zoo was being overly cautious.

Right fair enough I guess, caution is always advised no matter the snake I guess.

Despite our ridiculously venomous animals that we share our land with, I'm actually very proud of how intact our flora and fauna is. Wouldn't have it any other way. Well except cane toads, they can fuck off.

Truer words have never been spoken...

Australians explaining that Australia isn't scary while juxtaposing helpful ceiling and basement snakes is amazing.

I think it's because of the nasty bacteria snakes have in their mouths.

I'm surprised that the snakes just keep on eating. Afaik do they tend to puke their prey up when they get disturbed and run away.

Also this quote made me laugh

"It was an amazing sight.

"I didn't watch it all. I went away to make a cup of tea but came back every hour."
