I'm 22 turning 23 soon, and for the past year I've been dating a 17 year old HS junior. We're sexually active, it was our first time for both of us ( we were virgins). I met her when she was 16 nearly 17. She was a junior in HS and got hired on at my work. I remember being dumbstruck by how pretty she was, she had light brown hair, freckles and a nice body. if you had asked me how old she was, i woulda said, 20ish, since she was tall. We began talking, and realized we had a lot in common, she was shy anime nerd who had few friends, she wanted to be a nurse, and she liked video games, we had our differences, she didnt like partying, I did, etc. She was underaged and i was in community college. We both went with our heart and kept it secret because I live in Biloxi, Miss, people here are Christian and not reasonable towards premartial sex, specially underaged sex. if they found out I was in a relation with a 17 year, or even having sex, they'd throw me in jail.

I mainly managed to hide the fact we were dating because her parents were stupid and believed I was her best friend and mine (around here most people live with their parents till they're near 30) didn't care what I did. My friends knew (they're liberal) and begged me to end it because "Dude, shes 17 thats disgusting". I tried to reason with them saying "How can it be disgusting? She's not a little girl. Shes fully grown and mostly mature". And yet they still said "Dude its the age that counts. Until she turns 18 thats disgusting as all hell". :-/

Our relation had grown, and a few months ago we took it to the next level. It was during Valentines, I surprised her with a nice romantic dinner and movie. We were watching a movie, and a love scene came on. She got kinda feisty and said she wanted to do it. Well one thing led to another and the next thing I know we're on the floor naked and having sex. We finish, and she smiles while shes getting dressed saying how she loved me and how it's a shame it may not work out because of the age.

She'll be a senior soon, and her birthday is coming up in October. I do truly love her, and people say we get along like an old married couple. I'm afraid once the secret gets out, I'll be thrown in jail and my life ruined because of a love. I know people are saying "Dude, shes 17 and not mature, shes a HS student and you're an adult", well, I don't see how the age difference helps. I've had no life experience, I've spent my life working at a Walgreens, going to a CC with dreams of going somewhere else, but, as said many people in this town never leave. She's aware she'll probably end up working retail like her parents, or in a dead end job. But she still wants to try.

She wants to be a nurse, but, she can't afford college because she's poor like most of us and her grades arent very good. Am I a disgusting pedophile for falling madly in love and having sexual relations with a 17 year old?

All kidding aside if her parents accept it and your good to her I myself dont see 23 to 17 being that bad. If you treat her right and its not a pervy sex thing I wouldnt think of this guy as a perv,
Heck, a ton of girls in my highschool who were seniors/juniors/16-18yr olds dated college guys, mostly the untouchably sexy girls..
I know the law and people see it in a bad light, but as a 33 year old both of your are still kids in my eyes.
 
As a kid I really hated taking pee and potty breaks during gaming, so much so that sometime i would hold my shit for so long that some of it would come out, stain my sorts and then dry up. Of course, after i was done gaming, i'd wash my shorts with water and soap, but the chair started smelling really bad after a few weeks, as you can imagine.

Also, after looking at a TV advert for sanitary pads (yeah, the ones chicks use to soak up period blood) and their awesome absorbing power, i decided to try one. I snuck one out from my moms drawer when she wasn't around and stuck it in my undies, right in front of my peepee.

I can't even imagine being able to still hold a conversation with a high schooler. And I'm Only in college.

It's not so much about the age as it is more about the life experiences that differs. She's going to go through three life changing events, all of which will have a effect on who she becomes. The confessor already went through those doors. Whose to say she will remain the same?

Even if the relationship is genuine, it won't last. She still has a lot of growing up to do.

the age of consent in Mississippi is 16, like most states

Well, age of consent is 16, so... Mazel tov? I don't know. I don't think the confessor is going to prison.

Yeah there wouldn't be much of a difference if that were the case. The guy said he's almost 23. A 5 years gap is huge. Hes at the age where many are already done with undergrad for a year or so while she has a year til she goes to college.

Some people don't really change, I can believe this... but most people do change, especially as they move forward through their life and through different institutions.

I cant be bothered creating a new email for this, was tempted to post this in the shallow/asshole thread but I fear the repercussions.

I cheated on my husband last year with my 17yo neighbour (legal here) I was 23.
I felt no remorse as he had become a prescription addict and would sleep all day,
get up, have withdrawels, drug up and lie on the couch til he went to work (nightshift).

I had been planning to leave the husband for quite some time anyway so I used the
affair as an excuse. When I told him, he proceeded to o.d on painkillers and alcohol. I regret
not letting him die. The abuse I got in the following months from him and his family was horrendous.
They didnt understand the verbal and emotional abuse I endured behind closed doors.

I ended up living with the neighbour for 18 months before we broke up earlier this year.
In that time I had cheated on him with 2 other guys. The first one was just for the hell of it
because I was messed up over my ex husband, the second one was because I was being
neglected emotionally and sexually. I dont regret either of them.

I just wanted to get this off my chest. Not the worst thing in this thread, but the worst thing I've ever done.

it's not the first time gaffers assume that the whole world works exactly the same as where they're based. see; puppies thrown into river in tiny remote village in bosnia. obviously everyone can afford to take care of puppies and clearly the little village has a nice cozy shelter all ready to feed those cute little creatures. it's common practice, like it or not, sans recording and putting it up on the internet.

Its kinda somewhat a common thing that some young girls in their teens are attracted to older men.

One of my closest buddies is in a relationship with a 18 year old. He's 26.

My ex used to be involved with a 33 year old film producer when she was 18.

And someone I know used to have a sexual relationship with a a 32 year old lawyer... when she was 16... apparently it was her who wanted it. Honestly I dont tolerate or condone that kind of behaviour.

Ive had girls at 16-17 hit on me aswell but ultimately rejecting them. I might be old and jaded, but Im not morally skewed.

EDIT: and 2). true. Thats the age of consent in Denmark from a legal standpoint apparently.
 
People are adults at the age of 16. In most countries that's when you have to fend for yourself. That's when you can get a job, its when you can join the army. You cant vote, but you need time as an adult to establish a political mindset. Turning 18 is just when you can drink in public.
 
Hey, really been enjoying the thread. Been lurking GAF for awhile, first contribution to the confessional. What I've got kind of pales in comparison to some of the other stuff, but here goes:

I work at a retailer that specializes in cell phones. One of our sales metrics are trade-ins on old phones when customer come in for new devices. The trade-in deals can be quite good (or total crap) depending on the model/how nice I feel like being and just giving out store credit. However, when an attractive woman comes in, I always make sure to give her an outstanding deal on her trade-in credit. You see, I want the phones of hot women because I'm willing to bet dollars to pesos that they've taken naked pics of themselves that are still on the phone. I take the old phone, wait until after close of business, then transfer any worthwhile photos to a memory card and store them on my own personal computer at home. I have an impressive collection. I absolutely love that these women, many of which come back in for any number of reasons, have no idea that I know what they look like naked.

Friendly reminder: always PERSONALLY delete your info off any of your devices. Just because someone says he absolutely will erase your data--say a charming, seemingly upstanding, and honest salesman--doesn't mean he won't find a nefarious use for it first.

It's astonishing that people won't think to erase their own stuff and put faith in A COMPLETE STRANGER to do it for them. Common sense isn't so common I guess, and chances are these pics are going up on some random forum too.

I can spend 30 minutes playing tower defense on my phone at the work toilet while getting paid by the hour. It's one of the best feelings ever.
 
I started dating my now-wife of 18 years when she was 18 and I was 23.

She was a mature 18 year old, already halfway through her sophmore year in college.

I don't see the big deal with the MI guy's relationship.
