You do know the Re-Up Gang album is almost entirely recycled material right? Mediocre production throughout and most of the verses are recycled from the We Got It For Cheap mixtape series. It was a cheap phone in album. Even still, all you really need is WGIFC vol 2 and you're good.
I knew I liked you.

What book?
Unbroken: A World War 2 Story of Survival.. Solid book, supposed to write a book review for my History class. Delayed reading (for the most part) and the paper till the last 24 hours. Just starting the paper now.

it's comin'. just working with CRS to jack his OP from this one, since it's so thorough. he might have a surprise or two as well, get hype!

Hell Hath No Fury isn't even the best Clipse shit. Couple of great tracks, and A LOT of nonsense beats that didn't fit the group. Mediocre album due to too many lazy Neptunes "left field for the sake of being left field" beats. Shit is so overrated it's crazy. Best shit the Clipse put out was the Re-Up Gang shit. And that's partly because Ab-Liva and Sandman were going in on those shits which made Pusha and Malice step their shit up. Plus they picked beats that actually fit their style.

i can tell you're not a real Clipse fan cause those are crap. Liva & Sandman arent nice either. We Got it 4 Cheap 2 is the only thing good from that collaboration. and even then is wish i had a version w/o Liva & Sandman.

HHNF is definitely a classic too.

Hell yeah!

Hell Hath No Fury > Lord Willin > WG4C Vol 2 > Till The Casket Drops > Exclusive Audio Footage > Road TTCD > WG4C Vol 1 = Vol 3 = Re-Up Gang

And I say this thinking Exclusive Audio Footage is the SHIT. Not as good as their best by any means, but it's a classic to me.

Clipse have no classic albums.. But Lord Willin was better than HhnF

a classic that still doesn't get the respect it deserves

Who doesn't respect the Diary?

Clipse just isn't that good
They peaked at Hell Hath No Fury for me, Til the Casket Drops was a,lousy followup. Although "Popular Demand" still knocks, that track with Kanye was good and "I'm Good" were decent, no where near HHNF levels of awesome.

True, but how many people actually think this is a top 10? I just think it's a little underrated. probably the best south album for me next to super tight

I aint going say it is top ten... Or even the best southern album

ATLiens is maybe my top album from the south...

And the underrated gem from the south that doesn't get as much love as it should is eightball and MJG on top of the world... In my top five southern album

ATLiens is definitely the definitive southern classic. Shit isnt even debatable. But ATLiens is a classic regardless of region.

Without a doubt..

Of course it's debateable. What do you think this conversation's about? The flows on that album are incredible, no doubt, their pinnacle as rappers- But i think the Diary is thematically more coherent(I just don't feel a big overarching feel to ATLiens) and I think it grooves harder.

ATLiens is one the few albums that feels soooo complete... Only two albums that feel more complete to me are No One Can Do It Better - DOC Death Certificate - Ice Cube

If I had to knock the Dairy, and I don't want to, I would say a few tracks have a "samey" feel to them...

Scarface is underrated as a rapper. Never went for mainstream success and never did a "radio" song. But he has gained a great following. He was in the studio with Mannie Fresh this week, so maybe he is putting out something soon.

Oh god yes!

But seen a man cry was his radio jam, and did well!

I respect scarface, love his shit, but he just wasn't on the same level as Andre and Big Boi in their prime. ATLiens is 2nd to Illmatic in my top albums. Shit is beyond amazing.

Think it is better than Illmatic and that isn't a knock on Illmatic at all

I would have no problem with that, just Illmatic made me connect with hip-hop, i didn't discover ATLiens til much later. So it has a personal connection.

Glad to hear he is out of prison the relative quietness surrounding him since he got into prison wasn't good. Hopefully we get another Nas or Cube collaboration, love the tracks he's done with either of them. Face will always be the king of the south for me.

Can I add Goodie Mob's Soul Food to that list?

It's hard for me to pick between the two. I find them both to be perfectly crafted albums.

I do gravitate towards darker music, so SF might get the nod, depending on my mood.

Red Dog -> Cell Therapy -> Dirty South back to back was a great decision.

Agreed, but it wasn't like he did a "radio jam". The closest one is the song he did with Jay-Z.

Yeah, he made his return to Houston at a show at the House of Blues. IIRC, it was a DMX show and Face came out and shocked the crowd. He has been connecting with Joe Budden, Pete Rock, and a few others so we will see if they appear on his upcoming album.

I wonder how many of yours wrongfully call me a troll because you don't like what I say.

lol... You are a troll. Things you don't like become trash and everyone in the word is wrong because they are "dumb" lol

The only way to settle this quarrel is...

...with a freestyle battle. Let's get our own version of SmackDVD out there, we have a steady stream of beefs [with ReconYoda] to pull from.

Thats not a troll, thats opinionated. A troll is willfully misleading and doing things for a reaction. As a mod i would hope you would know the difference. And I only feel there are two actual stupid posters that are regulars, and dismiss their opinions because i feel they might actually be mentally retarded. Others I will debate, and of course i believe I'm right, but i won't call them wrong.
