Well, the main problem really was the way we handled it. A lot of us just wrote to the first 30 seconds or something and it's hard to fit it in that way haha.Might be hard to fix, but yeah next time we make a track we should really call what time we come in so it's much easier for whoever decides to mix/master. I hope we can do more tracks together and in a much organized way. Even though this was just for fun.

Also, great fucking work on that beat tape for real shinobi/toku. Don't know much this will mean, but I fucking love the song two dope boys in the cadillac, but I think I prefer the beat yall made, just sounds more smooth.

I'm unsure if I'll be doing gaf-hop awards now, I broke my laptop in half which is where most of my music is at, so now I just have my computer which I only really use to record on so I'll pop my head and every now and then till I get the moneys for a laptop again :(

Ahh, what MPC would be good for beginners? I just won about $500 this week playing poker at the casino, so I wanted to either get a good mixer or MPC. I was looking at that Maschine Mikro, but I dont know if that is good for starting out.

Get the Maschine Mikro. The workflow is a lot better than a MPC. And the software is amazing as well.

Mafia in Dubia, is nuts! Album is fun. Some tracks sound on some Kanye shit, not bad. Dude, just go to Bandcamp and listen to it there. Out of 15 tracks, I like 4 so far....But I have to give it a full listen tonight. Juicy J has taken over my iPod for a minute already.

There are only 2 benefits the MPC have over the Maschine.

1. If it's a MPC3000...the output converters are amazing....thats why most beats made out of a 3k just sounds great...because this was the Last MPC Linn actually made before he died....

2. It's a little more portable and compatible...meaning, u carry around one thing and make beats as oppossed to a maschine, ud have 2 peices of equipment to carry around. But really, how often would u be making a beat elsewhere other than your home? and compatibility because alot of studios have a MPC and u would just need to bring ur disk to the studio to start work....where as with the maschine u'd have to bring ur laptop and maschine unless you export each file as a wav...but that's still extra work. But how often are you taking ur work to record in professional studios?

Maschine > MPC by a great margin with the Real true advantage of the MPC is just the outputs on the 3k....the other versions dont sound as good.

Maschine is better than MPC in...

-Cost
-workflow
-ease of use
-software
-Updates from manufacturer.
-Storage of beats
-etc
it a no brainer

Kanye 'Moving To London For Fashion Career'
Hip-hop megastar Kanye West is reported to be planning to move to London to pursue his ambitions in the fashion world.

The 34-year-old American is claimed to think that moving to the capital will help him be taken more seriously as a fashion designer.

Plus of course he'll be able to get a decent pint of beer when he feels like it.

Kanye is reported to have held a party for his womenswear label DW in London last week, and The Sun claims that he was telling all and sundry about his plans to move over here permanently.

A source told the paper: "He went home for the holidays but was proclaiming that he is now based in the capital and would return in early January.

"He's close to the lecturers and students at the Central Saint Martins College and being in London means he can stop by for advice any time.

"He'll be over here preparing his Paris Fashion Week show, due in March. He's also been looking for a studio.

"While at the party Kanye was giving models his email address and cheekily asking them to send him photos."

His fashion label is named after his late mother Donda West and received mixed reviews following his debut show earlier this year.
