I've only listened to Overly Dedicated, and it's not like Section80, it's just a collection of mediocre-to-bad flowless songs with a completely different sound. So I would say avoid that to avoid tarnishing any positive image of Lamar you may have.

Thanks! I do have a very positive image of Lamar, don't want to ruin that.

Phesto from Souls of Mischief on the other hand is also finally doing a solo thing;

Whenever I see your avatar, my eyes then move towards the body of your post and I anticipate it always saying "YOU GOT KNOCKED THE FUGG OUT" but it never does :(

I like Kendrick more, but I think Q has the bigger chance of blowing up into the mainstream.
I see it the exact opposite way around. Kendrick has more mainstream appeal, but I like Q better. Ab-Soul I feel is an empty promise and lolJayRock.

I think Kendrick has the bniggest maistream appeal, and I like him better. Ab-soul, I don't know, he's decent as a guest, I guess. JayRock lol.

Same aside from the other shit. Ab-Soul is great and I like him more than Kendrick but I think he's too hard to swallow for most people.

Pretty much and I'd say he is for me. I listened to that Longterm Mentality shit once and that was it lol. I really should go back to it.

Honestly though, as a feature, I really like Ab-Soul and I feel like he hypes up tracks much more.

Don't listen to this guy. OD is really good. You don't want to listen to an artists album just because your scared one little bad song will ruin your image of him? No offense but thats some childish shit. here our my favs of O.D:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xep756J2ffg kendrick even said this verse is one of his favourites

Yea he's got that wild ODB energy but without a whole clan behind him to kinda bring him down. There's brilliance in there though:

Much like the rest of TDE, he's got a great fucking ear for beats.

Ab-Soul isn't bad or anything, he's just yet to deliver anything that's stuck with me for a while. Shit I even thought that Top Dawg Under Dawg song or whatever and the other one he had with Q were great, but I never find myself going back to em.

I don't know, shit like "There He Go" has far more mainstream appeal imo than anything I've heard from Kendrick.

And Ab-Soul is awesome, but yeah I don't see him ever getting much of a fanbase sadly.

You heard Black On Both Sides right? I actually think it's a better record than the Black Star one, though admittedly Thieves In The Night tops anything on it but I would legitimately call that one of the best songs out there.

they're both classics, seriously. i don't see any real arguing against either.

Reflection Eternal is not awesome?

Quality, Ear Drum, and Ecstatic are all solid albums.

You guys are high, it's like crapping on Nas because besides Illmatic he doesnt have a stand out album.

Mos has got Black on Both Sides and Blackstar, two classics

Talib has Relfection and Blackstar, two classics.

About 99% of rappers out there dont event have one.

Reflection Eternal is indeed awesome, Quality is the best solo Talib joint. skip all the rest. Ecstatic wasnt bad either but they're years past doing good work on their own now.

Jo - Reflection can be argued as a classic, go listen to it again!

Mos Def really should of had someone tell him that the n****s in paris shit he did was terrible before he released it.

man, so much of Mos' decisions in the last few years sound like he either asked yes-men or didn't ask anybody at all...but yeah, track was garbage.

check the TDE site. It's about 20 bucks because of shipping and limited signed edition but if it's truly a top 5 you shouldn't care about dropping that money on it.

hopefully it ships quick.

Rich Forever wasn't even that good. It's like that one album you'd hate to put in your top 10, but you really have no other choice to because you listened to very little music throughout the year. I hope by August, it's not even in your top 15.

Nope. but Rich Forever has. that shit is immaculate. and these are album scraps.
You cannot possibly be serious.

Yeah some bangers, Holy Ghost probably one of my faves, but that shit all sounds the same and recognizably like throwaways by the 3rd listen.

lol Rich Forever won't even be a top 30 mixtape of the year. Chock full of garbage features, throwaway beats, and Ross sounding distracted by other things.
