TRU- Who’s da Killer

After cleansing my ears fromlistening to Sonya C’s debut album “Married to the Mob”, I put on the second album from TRU entitled “Who’s Da Killer?” Released in 1993, this album is a banger and some bag of chips. I mean the Herrs kind with sour cream and onion flavor. Throughout the album you get greeted with funky old school beats and vicious lyrics from the group. Tracks like “Who’s da Killa”, “Neighborhood Dopeman”, and my favorite “Ghetto Is a Trap”, is a good change of pace compared to their first project which was average at best. Everybody did their thing throughout the album, even Calli G…whoever that is. Bottom line, if you want some good old school west coast hip hop or digging the crate for rare No Limit albums, this is worth the buy. You won’t be disappointed with this album, until the next one comes out a year and some change from now.

Finally finished 90059. ugh so good, shit is ill. Each track is great and vice city grew on me since that one wasn't as good to me when I first heard it. I was kind of worried with this album for some reason but glad Jay Rock delivered yet again.
