Now the soundtrack, its pretty good. The soundtrack is jam packed with bangers and features from the No Limit camp. Also, established stars like E-40, B- Legit, E-A-Ski, Eightball and MJG, Brotha Lynch Hung, and UGK. Tracks like Meal Ticket, How Ya Do Dat, What Cha Think, Much Love, and many others just sets the overall feel of the movie since every track was featured on different scenes of the movie. My main gripe with Im Bout It though is the fact that it feels like Job Fair the album. Meaning, most of the tracks are cut short or end abruptly. I know the length of the album was heading over 80 minutes, but at least make it into a double album. Some of the tracks you may will hear or heard on previous No Limit releases, but they still bang in the headphones.
Bottom line, if you hated the movie check out the soundtrack
if you love the movie then go out and buy the soundtrack. It really was one of the top albums of 1997 and a No Limit classic release that shouldnt be looked over.
