Make up scenarios in your head brehs. Who is "everybody"? You mean the people in this thread who don't fuck with you? The people that I spend a part of my day getting to know in the official GAF-Hop chat that you was never invited to cuz everybody sees through your shell of a personality? Stop saying 'brehs', 'everybody', nobody wants to be your brother b, this is what the definition of corny is: thinking to be part of something you just ain't and never was. U NOT GAFHOP

btw, is that gif showing you at the moment when your coal-fired heart shattered into tiny little pieces after I went peshmerga-mountain-warrior on your ass and the resulting smoke left your spineless body? honest but brutal, I give you that

Done with your corny soul, and sorry for the derail to all those of us who wanted to enjoy their Friday

I'll check this out. I don't think I've fucked with anything from Blu since Below the Heavens

Remember really liking this a while back. Might need to catch up on more recent shit too.
There's a lot to like in Blu's body of work, but there isn't another album that's as consistently good as Below the Heavens.

That being said I would highly recommend checking out this album: http://bluandexilefatbeats.bandcamp.com/album/give-me-my-flowers-while-i-can-still-smell-them

It's another Blu and Exile record that they made in 2010. It's pretty dope. I'd also recommend Her Favorite Colo(u)r if you're in the mood for something a little different. It has some of Blu's best traditional rap tracks mixed with movie sample interludes and instrumentals. Makes for a pretty unique listen that feels more like a film soundtrack. And it was all produced by Blu himself. It's great.

And there are countless other one offs from his mixtapes and collabs that are incredibly dope. You could search Blu on YouTube and find dozens of really nice random tracks.

Always the same shit with you self-hating nobodies in this thread, coming in here and trying to gather attention from an OG like me by pissing on my leg hoping to get quoted by a legendary one - Storm Chamber, biz, siddx, I can give you all suicidal cats some of my shine, no problem

And now, Storm Chamber, you of all people complain that I complain about something for once? The one who whines and shitposts constantly? lmao, give me a break. At least these dudes tried to explain their positions and despite disagreeing with them I respect their opinions.

Post in here, clown me, try to be edgy with shitposts - in the end nobody fucks with you b, cuz you are the corny one with constant attention-seeking blah-blah posts full of nothing.

Edit: matter in fact - I rather be the corniest cornball on this planet than to be you

I finally uploaded the Supa Bwe/Hurt Everybody compilation I've been listening to, it should be kosher since it's comprised of freely released material. I'm pretty hooked on this stuff, but it most definitely ain't for everybody. He has kind of higher pitched voice and sloshed cadence, and he sings half as much as he raps. Some of the stuff is really kind of emo, some of it is most definitely kind of comedic or ironic, and of course there are times where he teeters on a cringe-worthy line...But for some reason I can't stop listening to his material especially on those hazy vice ridden nights home. Highly recommended if you're into artists like Young Thug, Saba, Alex Wiley, and Lucki Eck$.

Checked him out yesterday after your post about it.

Contacts and Toni Braxton were my faves.

I'll check out the mix asap.

I'll admit I enjoy watching a few posters attempt to make actual posts about rap music while the rest of the thread is blowing up around them over some fuckery. 😹

Thank you for not making these a mess in my iTunes.

Where does Armand Hammer fall in here.

Another question, do Camouflage and The Chalice sound like how the album covers look?

Early 2000s Def Jux-ish?
Race Music definitely above everything, his early stuff has more traditional backing music with really heyday Vordul Mega esque rhymes. So kinda

Below the Heavens > Her Favourite Colour > Give Me My Flowers

I love all three, but Below the Heavens is an all time personal favorite for me.

so is songs in the key of price lookin to make anyone else's top 10 list this year or nah

Naw, RIP to the gawd price but he was never a dude who could make a full album that would track on a list like this.

Ima just appreciate him for what he was - maybe the best at coming through with a quick 16 that made you go Woah, and then probably laugh, and then make you run through a wall.

i can dig some of that, just really came to appreciate his style somewhere around when this group was on Mic Tyson and really miss his style, so this album (which as i understand it is basically his b-sides) really worked for me & stayed in rotation
