Goldlink's new album is straight. Think I prefer God Complex though, the popular samples gave it a bit more charm and I preferred the melodies more. Only one listen though, so it might change.

Listened to GoldLink 10 times in a row now. So, so good. Would have loved it was a bit longer, 2-3 more songs.

And the new Rustie album is dope as hell, too. JRPG-LSD-Neon-Happy-Trap music. More like his first album, Glass Swords (one of my albums of the decade), melody- and synthi-wise with the harsh drums and textures of his second, Green Language.

Hood Billionaire is a bit of a weird one. It's clearly meant to be mostly a mindless trap album, but you still can't ignore Ross clearly phoning in parts of it.
