The pretty one looks like someone just logically took rumours (i.e. Ty did 4 songs with Ye) and jumbled it into a tracklist.

Yeah those tracklistings look fake. 2 Beyonce features, Hotline Bling, and all 4 Ty features somehow made the album? No way.

Yeah that's all you can do at this time breh just be there for him during this time. I just went through a similar situation back in August a close friend committed suicide not even 25 feet away from me his parents were out of town and it was me his younger brother and a couple of other people there in the house. Hope you stay strong and feel better breh.
Thanks guys, and I'm truly sorry to hear that rasta. I couldn't imagine that happening, it would be a nightmare. My biggest fear is that his mother is in a mental institution because she has schizophrenia, and I'm worried he is developing it as well. The days leading up to today were very strange. He was delusional, and was acting like a different person. Scary shit.
I came to the conclusion that:
1) Barter 6
2) SS
3) SS2
The highs of SS are the best he ever offered in his career and as a whole there are better tracks there than in SS2.

Nothing in SS2 touches Stunna, Best Friend, Power, Calling Your Name, Again, Draw Down. After several listens, I just can't put SS2 above it.
I agree it's better to listen from start to finish, but this doesn't matter if I keep listening to the better songs on SS1. I personally prefer SS1, but I can see SS2 as the ''better album''.
It's like I agree that TPAB and GKMC are better than Section 80, but I just prefer to listen to Section 80.

Tbh, they're both too long with too much filler so I agree that SS1 > SS2 if only because it has more great tracks, even if the lows are a little bit lower.

Future has had the better year, which is incredible to think about considering how many good Thugger tracks dropped this year. 56 Nights and DS2 are both strong albums with only a few flaws and lows. The highs on his Drake collab are also all SOTY contender worthy.
However, when one really considers the artistic fortitude of Young Thug given his absurd output and number of leaked tracks it's hard not to come away impressed. We're talking about a guy with all of the industry connections, blog attention, and positive critical reception from some of the major web based publications who still doesn't seem to be concerned with the billboard sales numbers. He has all the media coverage of someone doing Future numbers and instead is barely beating out Troy Ave.
Thug is the quintessential new wave rap artist, a product of the internet age and of the skinny jean, irreverent black cultural movement. He flaunts his sexual ambiguity at will using it as a tool to spark controversy or troll homophobic fans and media figures. He's solidified his brand and has a style that arguably stands out the most in a region that's easily the most experimental and novel of all the modern rap meccas.
So many people seem to know who Young Thug and even enjoy his singles, and yet no one is willing to buy his album. He knows he could easily do decent number and yet he shuns sales logic for personal amusement in the same way the Pistols shunned EMI just for shits and giggles. He's an indie darling signed to a major. What an artist. He's known and yet fully accepted, because of his alien, queer style and personality.
