Honestly though, I really liked under pressure, thought it was one of the best albums of last year. But so far I find his new album to be just zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What's left of the Migos hopped on a beat from Shady tour DJ Alchemist before Eminem did.

What a time

Lowkey fire tho

Recycling a song around the M&M chorus which was tired when they first dropped it on the last tape is a bad look. They could never make a record again, I'm done. Wasting an Alchemist beat now too, what a blow

I should not be surprised that Bieber sold more than Drake in 2015 but I am. He deserves tho, great album.

Jadakiss - The Kiss of Death was a solid album.

Styles P and Kiss trading bars on Shooutouts and that Eminem feature were great.

it was, but i enjoyed jada more on guest spots and mixtapes than albums, overall

dude's a good MC, but didn't manage to put together many good albums. it's really a slight when you think about how many rappers - classic and modern - that applies to

ain't how the streets work bruh

i don't know how much you know bout them (i'm an expert) but it's all about loyalty and honor; you hold water & do your time, and when you come out? mad respect & you live like a made man

why, just look at Shyne

This gibbs is disappointing

Fuckin up the count was hardly indicative of the album we ended up getting here. The gucci track and forever and a day are the only tracks on first listen that really run with that theme. I wanted an album full of tough and gritty tracks with that signature raspy flow of gibbs. His music does not correspond to his image very well. He's supposed to be the realest dude in the game but puts basketball wives on here. He shoulda left all the spacey emotional shit for piñata 2.

Edit: lately runs with that theme too

Save words like terrible for the rappers who actually deserve it, like chief keef or fetty wap or makonnen. Calling logic terrible is nonsense. Boring maybe, he isn't the most exciting rapper energy or charisma wise, but he is a fuck load better than these chewing on a bag of dicks mush mouth no flow timing rhythm or lyrical ability having primary school shit tier rappers.

Adele just made a whole record singing to her old dude about how she's totally sorry that she got famous and fucked around on tour. Like, every single song.

I don't understand these figures.

So for Logic, 110,000 actually bought the album, full price? And only 18,000 streamed the album on Apple Music/Spotify/etc?? Really? There are more purchasers than streamers??

This week I've got to listen to new Freddie Gibbs and new Jadakiss. I'm always a week or two behind the rest of you guys. Plus Slime Season 2 has been hard to stop listening to.

I never really enjoyed Redman. Redman is Redman and I got bored of his metaphors & similes very quickly. Every line like "everything is like everything".

Ah it was a let down for me. Back about 10 years ago most hip-hop artists would release a free street mixtape before they released their paid studio album, maybe only a couple of weeks difference between the two.

Jadakiss released his mixtape to the streets just before the Kiss of Death album. That mixtape was absolute fire!! So good that the eventual album, with it's radio friendly tracks, was disappointing.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised

It's weird to see Jada talk in here, since I just listened to The Champ is Here last night

dude could rhyme with the best of em back in the day, and always had slick lines, but I feel like he was rarely focused enough to put together a cohesive and compelling song...verses were mostly random hot bars strung together that referenced street shit. The same could be said for a lot of rappers at the time; Jadakiss just stood out as one of the best in that lane

Why? is an absolute classic track, though

So who believes that Jadakiss is Top 5, Dead or Alive?? Except Jadakiss.

I guess I wouldn't be mad if he made somebody's list, but nah, he wouldn't go on mine.

Speaking of top 5's, would anyone put Beanie Sigel or Scarface on that list like I would?
