GAF-Hop Discusses:
- Rank Kanye's albums: College Dropout > Late Registration > Graduation > MBDTF = 808s
- Who is the best Wu-Tang member?: Method Man
- Illmatic > Nas' whole life?: Well, the dude will never be able to top or match it so yes. lol.
- Do you think Nas next album will be good? Or is Nas old and dusted with a horrible ear for production?: Life is Good was alright (the only track I skipped every time was Summer On Smash), so I'm hopeful.
- Who do you think won the Jay-Z/Nas beef? Nas. But the dude still seems to continue taking L's every now and then. ):
- Pick a side in the Biggie/2Pac discussion: Biggie. I love Pac, but man, Biggie got that flow.
- Lil B? Genius or mentally challenged?: Dude knows how to build a following...
- Pick an era of Eminem: Slim Shady
Also, anyone in Socal going to Paid Dues? Murs announced the lineup last night...and I'm not too familiar with most of them (at least musically).
Wrath of Caine dropping on Monday.

MY OWN CLONE! Other than the Big/Pac answer. Welcome, my friend.
Welcome Furious Styles.
Thanks guys! You have awesome taste. Regarding Paid Dues, the whole Black Hippy crew should be enough reason for you to go. I wish I had festivals like that nearby...
Same, except with LA. Paid Dues is a bit too much for me to go to right now. I'll think about it though. Pretty solid line up.I hope Q does one more small show in NYC before he inevitably blows up.
I was wondering what people thought about Infinite era Eminem.

Not the best production value on the album, but his lyrics are top notch in my opinion.

"I'm heading out to Asia right now praying that we're still on schedule for when we said we were going to turn that record in," Questlove told Billboard. "All last week, I was in the studio finishing (the album). We spent close to 18 hours, well not me personally because I have to go to 'Fallon,' but usually right after work. He's the only person that I'll actually go to the studio with and stay there to six in the morning, re-doing these drum parts. I won't even do that for my own band, but I'll do it for him. Right now, we're just tightening up the loose ends. But I still stand by, 99% of it is done."
"I would not be far off by saying this is probably my generation's version of Sly (and the Family Stone's) 'There's a Riot Goin' On.' It's potent. It's funky. It's an extremely hard pill to swallow. He's one of those artists that have, of course, taken 13 years to follow up a record. It's going to take you about 10 years to digest this record. Totally brilliant. Just the way this society works with music being able to judge if something is a classic after the first listen, you can do that after thirty seconds on this. And the fact that we started this record in 2004, and it still sounds like it came out five years from now, it is a testament to the timelessness of it."
Since 2004, the music world has seen plenty of false alarms regarding D'Angelo's untitled third album, though Questlove is fairly certain it'll be submitted for review by February, setting up a potential release during the calendar year.
"If this record is not turned in by February, then something is extremely wrong. Because we worked to the bone in the entire month of January just to tighten up all the loose ends."

He just be on some bullshit as usual.
He just be on some bullshit as usual.
There was supposed to be a "might" in that sentence but the way it is is probably accurate.
And why would you want an album to suck. Who gives a bloody fuck about fans, I just want to listen to good music.
Agreed. My only gripe with Paid Dues (and festivals in general) is when the set list is released and you have two artists/groups that you wanna see performing at the same time. I had to choose between Wu Tang & Ab-Soul and Kendrick & Dipset last year. ):You're getting your money's worth at Paid Dues if you plan your shit right. I would go ifbi had the chance.
And San Bernadino is only like an hour away from LA.
Furious Styles is BASED.
macklemore makes me actually miss asher roth
