Zip it clown, I liked Isaiah Rashad from the start (though I think he needs to work on his uniqueness; he sounds like a too-obvious combination of K.Dot and Jay Rock) . Do I think he's promoting himself in the right way? No, you use what's around you; the resources you've been given to make an impact. You're giving him props for basically.....being an idiot. If he wanted to roll dolo, why did he sign with TDE? lol @ pride too; especially given that every single member in TDE used big names at some point to clamber up the indie popularity pole. Starting with Jay Rock enlisting Wayne in the naughties when his name was J. Rocc or some shit. You really need to shape up.

I can't hate if it's his first official mixtape/EP and him not wanting to put every member from the crew on it. Kendrick only put Jay Rock on GKMC track and only one Q/Soul feature on S80.

Just singing for the chorus though.
All of him i've heard so far is Shot You Down and the various songs people played in plug. He's ok to me; he has pretty similar lyrical content to Kendrick but his delivery is more like Jay Rock. I'm not saying he has to load his shit down with people from the crew; in fact I think he should branch out from TDE and enlist affordable yet known indie rappers; people in that krizzle/ferg tier. Same with producers.

Looking at the track list it does look like most of it might've been done before he got signed to TDE. With there being no in-house TDE producers on it. I really don't get the Kdot or Jay Rock vibe from him though. You should check out some more of the songs he's dropped.

Surprised they're putting out Cilvia before Oxymoron. I was feeling it would be released some time in April. That's 2/6 albums for TDE so far this year

Damn shame lol. I wasn't feeling that album as much really after a couple listens. Dude didn't take that next creative step up. Him and Mills are gonna stagnate until their careers are over.
Both put out the kinda records with like three super fuckin dope tracks while the rest is boring, monotonous trap rap or sloppy autotuned croning. I don't really think either have potential to exceed that. I'll just keep on cherry picking the diamonds amongst turds for my mixes.

Big Kannon vs. Syah Boy. Just watched Syah Boy vs. Lottazay again the other day and that might be one of the best PG battles, so I was a little disappointed coming to this. This had it's moments, but the venue's acoustics hurt it quite a bit. Hope if they do another Sneakerbeast event, they plan the venue together.

Agreed on the video. I almost wish they had done 2 videos. One with the eye candy, and another with a bit more substance. I like the girls, don't get me wrong, but when I heard the song, slo mo vignettes of fat asses bouncing wasn't the vibe I was getting. There are a ton of ways they could have gone with it and had eye candy too. Whatever, I still like the song though.
