Not a fan of Big Sean, but IDFWU, those Kanye/Ariana features and this darker vibe he's pursuing compel me to give it a listen. Hopefully it's decent.

Looks front loaded as a mofo, with a Ye feature late to pad the album.

Guess I'll keep an eye out for medium sean then. dem features

Read PDs post at least 5 times and I kept thinking he saw his dad for the first time in 20 years and his dad remembered that he promised one day to take him to chuckee cheese

Ja had some strengths (the big sean of that time) but overall, nah. The worst part was his Tupac imitation style. Discusting

I shit on Medium Sean as much as the next guy but he definitely has my interested in his next album. Hopefully he delivers. Blessings is top 3 SOTY so far (not that it has much competition)

And lol Ja Rule
I can't not think of the countless Eminem diss songs I have downloaded every time I hear his name. Ja Rule been shook.

Blessings as SOTY already? We're not even in Feb. D:

Ehh I never said it was a great song.

Nice comeback attempt though.

Comeback back? I was never aware you were throwing shade. Hell I'm trying to figure out what clap back had to do with my post in the first place. /shrug.

Comeback as in to revive his career, nothing against you.

Not a fan of the song, but it served it's purpose. Had 106 and Park blazing with that World Premiere.

Clap back was a solid track by Ja standards, which overall were pretty low i thought.

sean's a fair comparison cause the thing is, Ja came up when guys like X, Jay etc were really blowing up -infinitely more exciting artists. so if you chose to ride for him instead of the obvious quality around him at the time, i just assumed you had low standards.

the Pac imagery was indeed scust but i recall it not being uncommon at the time - pac had died only years before, and some thought they should fill that void for whatever reason - but yeah, he may've been one of the more shameless attempts

You guys ever have something in one of your music folders for so long that you forget about and finally listen to and it ends up being much more dope than you could have even imagined when your first copped it?

...This album is taking me on a ride, at times it sounds like foreign lounge pop, other times like some Madlib type shit, and then it flirts with getting really trippy and acidey as well.

Their first album, from 10 years ago didn't grab me as much as this did.
