It's one of the few RPGs I've played through and actually been able to say I enjoyed. KOTOR is the only other in recent memory.

I don't know - I approve entirely. 'Half' is pretty much exactly the assed level of PDS in my book.

Based on those rare or once-rare games I've ended up picking up (never for too much money, thankfully) I'd say this is largely true.

I really liked PDS. It merged the previous games in the series and added RPG elememts really well.

Way too short though considering the number of discs it came on.

I got to the last disk. I think I had about 5 hours left to the end and I just couldn't be bothered. I think it's an above average RPG, nothing more. I don't regret selling it at all.

So, to answer the question, I'd pay you about $50 under the going Ebay rate. Just to make a little money. NiGHTS? You can get it on ebay with the controller, all new, for like $25.

But seriously, I'm curious what RPGs people who don't care for it prefer... I've played a couple of its hyped-up contemporaries (namely FF7 and Lunar:SSSC) and thought those were absolute grinds. In fact, largely based on my 32-bit experiences outside of PDS, I pretty much don't play RPGs. The only two current-gen RPGs I own are KOTOR (great) and Magic Pengel (neat gimmick, but annoying)
