Here is also a Youtube playlist with the first year of episodes, in case you don't want to use Soundcloud. The account has other playlists for the rest of the series.

Is there somewhere I can download the whole thing? I've got a long work day of nothing ahead of me tomorrow, so I'll have a chance to listen to a bunch if not all of this.

You can download individual episodes here. Otherwise, if you have a podcatcher on your computer or phone, it can pull it.

I will say that I get really annoyed with the little blurbs from the creators before and after each episode. Especially the ones that come before.

With Pocket Casts you can choose how far into each episode it should start to skip intros. Should get past most of it unless the lengths vary a lot. If you connect via Bluetooth the skip buttons should work so you can go 30 sec forward or 10 sec backwards or however many seconds you set those buttons to skip. Playlists are a bit clunky, but with a filter and using play all I was able to make one with all of the episodes.

No kidding? That's cool, I never knew that about Pocket Casts. It's not that I don't want to support the series, but it's basically the same forced rigamarole before and after every single episode.

I'm going to keep my avarar as it is for the game, although I could make a small modification to it, only if I was actually capable of any sort of real photoshopping :p.

Sign a blood pact with Blarg and he might do it for you. It only hurts at first, I promise.

But it would also spoil the theme of the game if I told him :p.

Have him do it for you after the game and players are announced and the game thread is made but before day 1 actually begins. There's usually a day or so delay between those two steps for the big season games.

Maybe, maybe. There is bit of uncertainty going on about S4 setup since I think there is more people wanting to mod than open places for sure, and the timetable about when all starts is still on the open a bit.

So all games are done now, right?

When can we expect season 4?

Oh, I want to spectate that, who is giving the spectator links?

Also, Isn´t that separate from the seasons?

Yes, it isn't a season game. I believe we are waiting on Crab to make a feedback thread and then to later on post a new recruitment thread.

ONUW and Target is missing, but I guess that gets its own place.

We need player statistics here!

Games Played: 4 (AC, DR, NX, EL)
Town Roles: 4
Mafia Roles: 0
Neutral Roles: 0
Win Ratio: 1-3

Deaths:
Lynched: 2
Killed:1
End-Game: 1

If we are counting ONUW/Target, I am 2-4.

There's been some discussion about lynching new players on D1 in the GAFia GAFia Game, and there's some arguments that people who get lynched on D1 won't play again if it's their first time. I know there's been some debate against having Newbies only games, but has there been a consideration to do some smaller practice games to combat this potential problem? Something like 8 players (2 mafia maybe?), along with some basic power roles should be fairly quick, and could give new players a better training ground/way to ease in without feeling bad if they died immediately in the season long games.

I think our trend towards having more mid-season games is good, but this might help the other way as well.

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I hereby declare a moratorium on lynching/killing Tucah within the first 3 day/night cycles.

I think this is the way to go, an all-newbie game. We can easily make it while recruiting people for Season 4 and having our general planning thread. During the sign-ups, the newbies can play the 7-8 player game while the mods make the last minute adjusting for the Big Games, who is playing in what and all that.

It could also give someone who feels uncomfortable but interested in modding a chance to run a small vanilla game to get used to things.

You could introduce a kind of mentoring system, have a couple of more experienced players that don't get access to the spectators thread stand by to help the newbs if they have any questions, not only about mechanics, but also about tactics, how to deal with certain situations etc.

As a mini-game (maybe on qt) that should be fine. Just don't make big newbie-only games. We all learn by watching the experienced players do their thing.

Wait, I just realized crab is banned, what gives?
Is this something to seriously worry about?

It seems he got on a politics discussion, if anything he should be able to communicate with us on one of the Death Threads, I want to think he got a 24 hours or 3 days ban, I highly doubt he got something harsher than that.

I didn't necessarily mean something newbie only (could add 2 vets and I think it would still work well), just something that's a bit more standard, easier to jump in, and a bit less intimidating than the main games. If it's a fast one it also feels less punishing to die since it's over faster, and you can introduce some of the key roles. Just use a standard power deck (say 1 seer, 1 doctor) to get people acquainted with the more common roles and an idea how it works.

Hmm, yeah you are right. If the game is all newbie, then they could be shy and something like the first game would happen, when no one will want to take the initiative.

So in a 8 player game, say with 5 town, 2 mafia and 1 neutral, we could have 2 veterans and 6 newbies.

Election hardly counts as a neutrala win

BSP isn;t neutral whatsoever. She was a hidden non-recruitable voteless godfather, that's all

Lord of Castamere and Blargonaut at dead bottom though, 0-3 and 0-4

Just put nice players in, and keep the darryls, sorian, aand squidyjs FAAAR away

Nah, it's fine. It's true that I like to avoid the newbie if there's an equally good target, and I ESPECIALLY hate it when people use previous game to justify a player's behavior (UTTER BS)

If a player plays scummy and was town before, then plays scummy and gets lynched again as town, and again does the same and gets lynched, too bad.

Well, I am bored now, is it ok if I make an All-Vigilante game to practice a bit? It would be a pretty fast game too.

The objective is simple. You are alone, everyone else has to die. Shot Priorities are randomized and set from the beginning, so the "Mafia" part of the game is deduce how good or how bad is your priority compared to the others, and during the day convince the others to not vote you out, lying about your priority, the lowest players in the priority list also get a second ability to balance it out, but I won´t say what it is.

And by fast I mean 20 minutes night/30 minutes day interval, so whoever would want to play would have to say it now. Also considering 24 hours intervals since not everyone has a free afternoon, I guess.

The plan is to have sign-ups until say 5/6pm Pacific Time (That is 17 minutes for now) and start 10 minutes later, and the game should just take the afternoon, game can start from 5 players, the limit is 10, first come first serve.

Who is up for it?

It would be done in Quicktopic so you don´t get locked on gaf post System.

That's genius lol I don't have a 100% free evening tonight or I would totally do this but I have to pass.

Hmm, if its 24hr intervals would you play? I mean, we do kind of have time since Launch´s game already started.

I was also thinking about a silly flavor for it, but the obvious one (Highlander) is the one I am not really familiar with.

Oh yeah, I totally would, it sounds better as shorter time intervals though and I just know that I'm busier tonight then I would be on a normal night.
