Does anyone know where you can buy NX town and scum teams? I need one of each
I agree with throwing 1 to 2 vets in for a small newbie game. My first 'real' forum Mafia game was Dangan and it definitely took a while to get my footing and figure out what to do but watching other players play helped out a lot. It would also help those who are interested see how some roles work, get the general 'feel' of the games, see if their schedules worked with the games' pace, and it might help them decide if they want to stick around for full season games or not.
The idea of letting 'new' or 'soon-to-be' Mods work these games also sounds like a great idea. There might be some issues letting a new Mod host a game dedicate to new, maybe inexperienced players but considering the game will not be role heavy there shouldn't be too many problems.
Just my 2 cents though. :x

I watched Season 1, it was ok, Sylar was kind of a lame villain to me, his whole clock thing was really silly. His role stealing power was cool tho.
I watched the first episode of season 2, saw the girl crying black ink, laughed and forgot about the show.

That was all you needed to know of Season 2. That show went from really good/great to hot garbage reeaallly fast.

never played with soyurichan yet but darryl and squidy were SUPER nice in Archer, like SUPER NICE. but maybe i had an anomalous experience? idk. just wants to throw it out there that maybe the community has painted a few names into biased corners....
tbh i had such worries when darryl came in but it was groundless. he was very nice to me. by the end of it, i had enough comforts to call him creampuff.... :3 i mean he went completely hostile against some people but when he's called out he replied immediately that it was just in-game talk.
There's no reason to lynch / kill new players on day one unless there are an overwhelming number of new players in the game. If new players are scum, they'll still be scum after day one. Let them get their feet wet and focus on other targets. Common courtesy that helps our community grow.

this, very much this. being lynched on d1 scars and scars heavily i think. some newbies probably aren't quite ready for the emotional feedback they are experiencing until they realise they are in hot waters straight out of the gate and they are reeling inwardly cuz they DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY DID WRONG in order to get hated so much for a lynch
looooooooooooads of people will take it personally when it's a new thing to them. they donno how to process the feeling of being ejected from a game by other people.
D2 lynches are fair game i think, even for new people, cuz it's probably already a few 24-hour cycles in real time, but D1 lynches can be a bit much for new people.
