I glance at the front page every couple of weeks in case there's a cool community I wasn't aware of, but for the most part you are right.

I think I found GAF Mafia during it's brief stint in regular Off-Topic.

To the "lynching newbies" discussion: I was a newbie in Cthulhu and managed to not get lynched on Day One. Not that hard, tbh, because I did plenty of spectating before throwing my hat in the ring. New players have all the necessary resources available to them to find out what they're in for. It's their responsibility to come prepared, not the community's responsibility to handle them with kid gloves.

My 2¢.

My thoughts on new players: Vote for them to apply pressure, same as you would anybody else. If they're giving you scum reads, then try to get them lynched. But if you're grasping at straws at the end of the day and just need to decide on somebody, I'd prefer not to go for a new player unless there's a really good reason for it.

Yeah, that's my other take on this. Many players have had legendary performances in their first game

If a new player is acting scummy, go for it. But when I see people be like "Oh, I know this player is super useful to have on your side." or "Oh, this player was awesome in this old game, keep him alive, he's useful" I do get mad, as it's a bullshit excuse and unfair to newer players

I am also doing a play-by-play description of who is killing who in the Spectator thread, so if anyone wants in on that let me know.

Aw, thanks! I agonized over it. I originally wanted one with Cecil in shadow or cut off, but none of those worked. This one makes him look normal AND totally weird at the same time, which I love.

I might go back later and try to take out the black background to see how that looks, but only if I have copious amounts of free time. (Which isn't likely.)

Yeah, a transparent background might make it stand out better. Nice regardless though.

I see Ouro trying to hail Crab on QT didn't work. Anyone else have any luck finding him? I'm kind of disappoint if that post that was quoted earlier is really what got him banned. It was such an innocuous comment.

inb4 he requested his own ban so that he could get away from us orz
