Banned for another week and a half, he was playing in politics again.
That's actually kind of excellent timing. It means that the games will start around Halloween, that feels pretty fitting for a Nightvale themed game. And Harry Potter too, come to think of it.

.... but i think we have to sort of mind it when S4 games run into the peak holiday season towards its late stages. people will suddenly drop in activity i think, cuz black friday and xmas and ny stuff will take priorities.

yeah im just thinking if there's not enough townies for a momentum of a vote would be bad enough ... imagine if one or two of the scums are suddenly waylaid by real.... it'd be unfair to the ones that remaining in the thread to play with full commitments to the game (specially if they are scum. i think haly tried his best in archer but carrying a scum team with somewhat inactive players is just ... idk... heavy seeming)
im sure swamps can relate well to this, too ...
i do have to say that i ....observey people come in to gafia with differing expectations and commitment levels and not one approach is best and most rightest.... but i think it'd be cool if we can iron out some of the code of conducts for our community? well, i dont wanna impose a lot of guidelines and such... hahaha... (im not an aspiring tyrant, i swear~).... so feel free to ignoaaaaarrrr meh but i just wants the community to grow and grow well
so... yeah, HOLIDAY SEASON! .......just something to keep in mind. but yeah. guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it~

Was the "rule change" even necessary? Isn't it understood that things just get endgamed when scum represents 50% of the player list?
Read lists are proven to catch scum. It's a tried and true method!
Assuming the town side has no killing powers left and there is no neutral that still has a win condition they could meet then yes.

In retrospect, it wasn't necessary. But by the same coin, I don't even know why it caused such a fuss, because if you think about it for two seconds you realize I'm just saying there won't be an extra phase for killing off the last townies if it's already a lock. It had literally no bearing on the Lucky Student mechanics.
If I could go back, would I have done that differently? Yes. But I also think that people tried to extrapolate information that wasn't there to extrapolate, because apparently when the mod says more than two words and a smiley face, that's supposed to mean something.
If you guys want to see a categorical list of shit wrong with my game, go see Tim's post-game criticisms in the DR thread. Point for point, I realized almost every one of them during the course of the game.
