I don't watch a huge amount of TV series and most of my answers have already been said but I'll list them again since I felt they were really good:

Fargo season 1 and 2 are my favourite TV shows of all time.
The stories, the cinematography, the acting, the characters it's all nearly perfect.

Season 3 was fine but nowhere near the first 2.

Voltron (it's animated and aimed at kids....but it's awesome)

Westworld is easily the best show of the last few years.

Already mentioned but Peaky Blinders is worth the watch.

I've not seen more than half of the first season, but Peaky Blinders is one of those shows I want to marathon some day; same with Vikings.

My Top 3:
Mad Men - The quality dips around season 5 a bit, but it's a masterwork in characterization. It's not necessarily plot-heavy, but has the most real & organic characters I can think of.

Miami Vice - Yeah, the show turns into the hot 80s garbage that everyone thinks it is when Dick Wolf takes over (and sporadically throughout season 2), but watch the pilot. It's an excellent noir that occasionally feels like Heat adapted for network television. When that show was actually good, it rivaled anything today on cable television.

Dark Shadows - With around 1200+ episodes, the pace is often glacial but it holds up extremely well. I'm around 200 episodes in (I didn't skip to the Barnabas arc) and still love it. I'm into old Hammer Horror, The Addams Family & whatnot, so my biases may be showing, but it's a great show with the right expectations.

Deadwood is great too, i thought the show was just the perfect western. Ian McShanes character is great and the show kind of does an about-face with him. I think it's on hbo go, as well
