That's who I was going to post. Moebius is incredible. Saddens me to no end that almost none of his comics are available in America.Bad enough it took that long to get to Mignola, but still not a single mention of Moebius???

David Mazzucchelli Batman Year One, in my mind Eduardo Risso is an evolution of this style.
You know I said about the awful halo comics Chettlar? Well look at this by the same artist:

You see Asterious Polyp? Even better output IMO.
P. Craig Russell is criminally overlooked and one of the all-time greats imo:

Thanks for the edit! How is the comic itself?
There's better ways to make something feel alive. You make me sound so naive...Cause see effort, she likes money. The money, it makes her feel alive, see.
It really isn't.See, I guess the issue with manga is it's always very much the same. Certainly it has tons of variants, but it's all one established art style.
David Aja:
It really isn't.
"Manga" is just the Japanese word for "comics". Outside of Japan, it's used as a shorthand for "Japanese comics". That's just it, really. It's not a style. It wouldn't be called by a name if it wasn't one established style.

Oo, very nice, very nice.

Here is some unposted awesome manga art
It wouldn't be called by a name if it wasn't one established style. There had to have been a number of characteristics for all manga to share in order to be manga.

wow @ OP saying that manga are all the same, just wow.
Well, let's use this opportunity to show OP what he's been missing! No need to turn this into something bad.
