Not exactly comic, but from a Batman animated movie:
Wow, I really love that. So much detail!Do webcomics count? Because if so the new Kill Six Billion Demons has a gorgeous artstyle.

I'm also partial to some of the mid parts of the Zebragirl webcomic where everything including the crosshatching and dialogue was done by hand. Unfortunately due to time constraints the artist has recently started to use more computer assistance leading to a cleaner look that i'm not quite sure I like.
Comic and artist, please.

Hes only done 1 issue though. Hes the slowest comic creator ever, hes a super nice guy, but damn, he takes AGES. It took him like 1 yr to finish his first issue or something, I think he's nearly done number 2 though. Which surprises me because he used to be a concept artist and I can't imagine he could work that slow.
Thanks.
And no wonder it takes him so long if that is representative of the quality because damn.
Sergio Toppi;
I've never read his stuff because all of the books I have are french, but honestly, I dont need to. He seems hugely unknown but his artwork is some of the best and unique I've ever seen. He also does normal illustration work
Oh, I read that last year. Sharaz-De is fantastic stuff.
I'm pretty sure that her outfit does count as clothes I don't think it's that bad. I mean there are different examples where she's pretty much nude to a full costume like the DCnU version of her.Like Poison Ivy doesn't ever seem to wear clothes
Do webcomics count?

That reminds me!
One of my favorite aspects of Sandman is the lettering, and Ramadan's is some of the best. It really contributes to the art (and characterization in other parts of the series, though this isn't one of the better examples of that), instead of distracting from it. Todd Klein deserves every single one of those Eisners he received for that series.
Something tells me you'll enjoy the latest issue of Sandman: Overture.
I would if I read it!
Fantastic thread, keep 'em coming! I've been on mobile, so I couldn't tribute, but I see many of my favorites mentioned: Moebius, Manara, Aja, Francavilla, Mignola, Otomo, Inoue, Murata and Urasawa for example.
I've always liked this one by him though.

EDIT: picture at the top of this page is gorgeous. Very clean, and yet still very active.

Shane Glines did this.
It's a shame Gotham city sirens got cancelled but oh well.
I kinda like that cartoon-y look.
I grew up with Transformers in the 80s and always loved these new takes on the G1 characters.
Transformers generation one is the source of those images.Where are those from?

Yeah thx, I know the generation, but what comic series or country or where to buy etc? I haven't seen those around and I've got interest for a poster to go in my gaming lounge with that design style.
EDIT: Scratch that the image link has information on a comic and poster series by Dreamwave Productions
Now just need to source high resolution versions...DP is a stupid link bait site now.
