I tried to split the difference between personal hype and the quality of the demonstration by favoring games with hands-on demos or extended gameplay footage. The last two snuck in there on hype alone.

1. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U

Looks amazing, and it's seemingly open world. I like Skyrim a lot, and I like The Legend of Zelda even better. Absolutely on number one.

Like Lunar Magic, but for console. Need I say more?

Procedurally-generated worlds with gorgeous art direction and you can use a spaceship. Sounds awesome.

Zelda is my favorite franchise and it looks awesome, no brainer. :p

Xenoblade's trailer wasn't that good but the Treehouse gameplay showed me why I love this game. Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii was one of my favorite games (of all time), so I'm really looking forward to it.

Bloodborne looks damn good and I love the setting, really atmospheric.

Splatoon's concept is really great, can't wait for those multiplayer sessions, makes me feel like a kid again, playing with three friends on the N64.

etc.

x. Batman: Arkham Knight; do not care for the franchise at all, but it looked really cool.

It was a rather good E3, lots of variety.

Only picking games that showed more than 10 seconds of gameplay, though I have a lot of faith in Zelda, Bloodborne and Uncharted.

1. Legend of Zelda Wii U
Under the assumption that the shown video was really in-engine, minds blown.
2. No Man's Sky
The idea of just wandering around and discovering places never seen before excites me.
3. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
This game just looks amazing and the gameplay is looking solid. Can't wait.

1. Dragon Age: Inqusition: Best gameplay demo of the show IMO.

2. Batman: Arkham Knight: It looks and plays amazing, and it would be the #1 if I weren't somewhat tired of the formula.

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Best trailer of the show IMO. Demos were good, but not amazing.

4. The Order 1886: Man, if the gameplay were as magnificent as the graphics and atmosphere...

5. Bloodborne: Soul mechanics are great and I like this setting more.

6. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End: I was excited for Uncharted 4 for one thing, to squeeze the PS4 and show the generational leap, I'm satisfied. Unbelievable graphics.

7. The Legend of Zelda Wii U: Zelda is proven quality and I loved the art direction.

8. Grand Theft Auto V Next-Gen: The way to properly play this game.

9. The Last of Us Remastered: Exited to play this game again, the 60 fps trailer looked great.

10. Assassin's Creed: Unity: I was kinda tired after III, but Black Flag was pretty decent and the demos they showed were cool enough. Visuals are amazing for an open world game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X just looks completely amazing, and I really can't wait to get my hands on it. The environments look gorgeous, and the story seems really intriguing.

The Legend of Zelda didn't show off a lot, but what was shown seemed really interesting, and Aonuma's comments during the Digital Event had me very intrigued and hopeful.

There were a number of other interesting looking games at E3, but these would be my Top 10 right now.

I'm so confused I feel like I hardly know anything about some games I'm really interested in.

1. Bloodborne - I need to know more but based on Souls it should be good.
2. Ratchet and Clank remake - I was hoping for a new game but I'll take what I can get.
3. Captain Toad Treasure Tracker - Looks like fun, I'm so glad it's full retail.
4. Zelda WiiU - I need to see more, I need a peppy gameplay focus to get really hype.
5. Mario vs Donkey Kong WiiU - Puzzle goodness.
6. Mario Maker - Could be some neat levels made, the ease of use looks great.
7. Yoshi's Woolly World - Not a Yoshi fan but this is the best looking in the series imo.
8. Miyamoto's Robot Battle - Needs some polish but it could be fun here and there.
9. Kirby WiiU - Looks not to bad, the clay is a nice touch.
10. Lords of the Fallen - Even fake souls is good souls..maybe...we'll see.

1. Super Smash Brothers
2. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
3. Far Cry 4
4. Zelda U
5. Ori and the Blind Forest
6. Bayonetta 2
7. Splatoon
8. Xenoblade X
9. Hotline Miami 2
10. Mario Maker

I really would love to go further and say WHY I have chosen these games, but I'm running short on time to do so, and I may address it again in a followup post. I may even edit it by then. But thus far:

1) Xenoblade Chronicles X
2) Batman: Arkham Knight
3) No Man's Sky
4) The Witcher 3
5) Dragon Age: Inquisition
6) The Legend of Zelda (Wii U)
7) Sunset Overdrive
8) Bloodborne
9) Valiant Hearts
10) Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

I would like to also mention Rainbow Six: Siege, and how jaw-dropping the damage effects are, and the ability to blow through the floor, as well as the animation quality but this IS Ubisoft...

Likewise, Uncharted 4. It was too short for my liking, and as someone who isn't necessarily a big fan of the franchise, the trailer did little to stoke me. I will still buy it, naturally.

Bloodborne alone would sell me a $399 system, on the strength of Miyazaki's previous games. And Lords at 9 because I'm all for Souls clones and am curious to read reactions when it's out.

The Ori trailer tugged on my heart AND looks like fun to play.

Halo MCC because that's an incredible value and will be the first game I buy when I eventually get an Xbox One in a few years. Ori will be the second, since I imagine it's a download and Halo MMC I'll buy on disc.

is there only 30 seconds of Cuphead footage? Looks amazing but too little to go on.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X
The successor to the game that epitomized wanderlust that's set to transcend it in almost every/any respect imaginable; it's an RPG looking to engrave its name alongside the magnum opera of the genre.

My list in terms of purchase intent (excluding remakes - Master Chief Collection is a sick value, btw)...

1. Final Fantasy Type-0 on Vita oh wait, that's a typo, my bad

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X

2. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
3. No Man's Sky

4. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
5. Fantasy Life
6. Bloodborne

7. Batman: Arkham Knight
8. Drive Club
9. Far Cry 4
10. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.

1. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
2. Uncharted 4
3. The Order
4. Bloodborne
5. Destiny
6. Dragon Age Inquisition
7. Assassin's Creed Unity
8. No Man's Sky
9. ABZU
10. ORI and the Blind Forest

It was hard to come up with this list, E3 was so amazing this year. And the thing is, the order I put them in hardly matters, I feel like each and every one of these games will be 10/10 experiences for me. Even then there are some that I was forced to leave out, like Evolve, LBP3, Broforce, etc.

1. Bloodborne
2. Uncharted 4
3. The Witcher 3
4. Sunset Overdrive
5. The Order 1886
6. Batman: Arkham Knight
7. Destiny
8. MGSV
9. The Division
10. Lords of the Fallen

The Halo collection and Scalebound damn near made it... wish I could have twelve!

Honorable mentions : Mirror’s Edge 2, The Divison, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Rainbow Six: Siege, Sunset Overdrive, Bloodborne, Forza Horizon 2, The Order: 1866, Evolve, ABZU, Destiny, Grim Fandango (wish we’d seen a bit of it), Xenoblade Chronicles X, Crackdown, Batman Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider… yup. I am interested in many many games. What an E3 !

1. Zelda WiiU
2. Halo: Master Chief Collection
3. Yoshi's Wooly World
4. Super Smash Bros
5. Destiny
5. No Man's Sky
6. Guilty Gear Xrd

- Zelda looks like it's going to be amazing.

- Master Chief Collection being enough to make me and my friends even consider to swallow our Xbone-bashing pride so soon is a huge feat in itself.

- Yoshi art style looks spectacular (so does clay Kirby, for that matter). Most of the core design mechanics paralleling Yoshi's Island definitely excites me.

- Smash is looking great in action and the Wii U version due out this year is an unexpected surprise.

- Wasn't really blown out of the water by anything Destiny-related, but that's basically because hype levels are already just about maxed. The No Man's Sky trailer during the Sony presser reminded me that the game existed. Guilty Gear Xrd is one of my most looked forward to games in years, but can't say it had much of an E3 presence.
