Thanks, I'll keep it in mind to avoid those (although it sounds like I saw two of them, and I agree they were a tad disappointing to a degree). I liked the idea behind the series, though. I appreciate the suggestions.

Of the Dead had its moments too. The Fatherfucker part was great.

The only real "disappointment" I had with this show was that episode 6 spoiled me on the caliber of action I thought the show would have. Everything else I either got adjusted to or I liked enough that it was a good watch.

First anime I truly enjoyed watching since Gurren Lagann. The soundtrack is pure awesome, especially Fly Away and the theme for Scanty & Kneesocks.

Gundam Unicorn's soundtrack is still the best from this year though. As catchy some of the tracks in this soundtrack are, it's still filled with mostly repetitive songs that for some, overstayed their welcome.

First anime I've watched at all in years. First one I've watched to completion(?) since 2004.

They just repeated what the secret track in the OST said and that they can't talk about it yet. They confirmed, however, the ending was indeed meant to set-up a second season.

Here is a translation of the secret track:

Panty: Hey Stocking! I heard our anime Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt has got the green light for a sequel thanks to its popularity!
Stocking: What? Who the hell decided that?
Panty: Speaking of a sequel... how about a trilogy? Hell, let's go further! We will reach season one hundred! A Hollywood remake is not a dream!
Stocking: Hey wait, Panty!
Panty: In fact, this planet is too small for us! Panty in the space! The whole universe will be calling my name!

I was testing out the waters to see if I wanted to get an HTPC. I checked the entries for various recent anime shows on TVDB to see how everything looked. Every series looked good except for Panty and Stocking which some asshole locked the page so you couldn't add anything. He setup the episode list so that each episode's 2 segments were their own episodes themselves, totaling 26 episodes. Needless to say it makes a huge mess. The fanart and backgrounds also look terrible.

I just purchased my first anime OST EVER.

$35 is pretty pricy, but I said fuck it and handed the CC over on the power of 3 songs: Fly Away, I Want You, and D. Rock City.
