Wow. Just wow, I'm glad i went into this unspoiled because I DID NOT SEE THAT ENDING coming.:lol I'm still in awe, bring on season 2! although i find it hard to see how it would work unless they made the demon sisters the lead characters to replace panty & stocking. You never know it could all be just a troll by gainax and there is no season 2 planned.:lol

Also the finale proved that panty > stocking. Panty was always the "good" guy while stocking was really just a backstabbing bitch.:lol

The signs were there we just didn't notice them...

One of the first promo pieces for this show had "Is she really an angel?" plastered over it for the caption. I had that and a couple other things on my mind as possible threads to be tied up in this episode while I watched it, but I'm always hesitant to read too much into anything when it comes to this show.

I expected something epic out of the finale, something like episode 6, or whatever epsiode the demon sisters first appeared. And what I got was a wasted first half. A lame "guren lagann" spoof of garter vs mayor, unfunny jokes and a lame last ghost. I literally groaned when i saw the plastic doll appear. Really...thats all you got?

And before anyone comes in and says "ITS JUST GAINAX BEING GAINAX" Okay, ill give you that. Doesnt make it any less shit tho.

Series as a whole 8/10
Finale: MEH

Really, the only thing I'm genuinely disappointed about is that the action wasn't as good as I was hoping for.

How the hell did this wind up being my favorite anime of 2010? Everything about this series should have been sketchy at the least and a turn off at most, but it actually fucking delivered... Wow. :lol

Flaw with this is

1 - They are sisters
2 - Why not just kill Panty when she was de-angeled.
3 - Why did she save Panty instead of just killing her outright

But thats Gainax for ya. :lol

Bjergsen is the greatest midlane in the world
I liked P&S, but a second season would be kind of lame. This one already wore thin in some spots. The characters are all just hyper-caricatures, one season good season is enough.

Gainax is too good to get caught up making P&S for so long.

Great finale. Was hoping it would be more like episode 6, but still fantastic. Not entirely sure what to think of that ending. No idea how a season 2 will work.

The whole series? :p but you should watch episode 12 before episode 13. As episode 13 continues straight after the ending of 12.:lol

So after watching ep13 last night, it's now dawned on me that I've never laughed harder at anything in my entire life. I was going for a good 15-20 minutes after it was over and I just couldn't stop. Ended up feeling lightheaded and slightly sore afterwards. But the end was just so goddamn hilarious.

Season 2 =
Brief, Chuck and possibly the demon sisters vs Stocking and her henchblob, Corset.
