Its horrific how they think they can (and usually are) speaking about and saying these things freely with no accountability or responsibility - especially teachers and other people in high influence and responsible positions.

We really need to start holding people accountable and responsible for what they are saying and pushing for online - these clowns live in an online echochamber bubble with everyone agreeing with them, no pushback at all but you know if you got these clowns out in front of people in public and got them to read these comments out loud they would crumble.

The sad thing is how helpless and hopeless it all feels - its been good to see people getting sacked and eating their own medicine but I dont feel its enough to make a dent.

What can we actually do here to pushback on this when all institutions are behind it?
Its already clear these scumbags dont want to debate or talk things through but instead call out for violence while constantly acting like victims.

I was considering drafting an email and sending it to high level people in these shitty companies (Sony, Sucker Punch, Bethesda etc) saying how disgusted I am with them, I will not be buying any of their products anymore, how they have allowed and supported this culture and mindset that has been allowed to fester and grow but does it or would it make any difference?

For my own personal situation I already know I wont be buying these games anyway and I hope they flop hard and fail.

The world, businesses and governments need a huge clear out and reset in totality but that can only happen one way, which is good for nobody.

They confirmed to Kotaku's supposed journalist that the dev doesn't work there anymore when asked about it.

There are also legal limitations on employers, generally they cannot publically identify people that were fired and in many cases not disclose why it was done.
