I'll agree with everyone who said Metroid Dread. I first heard about that way back in 2005.

As for a game that hasn't been mentioned yet, definitely Mega Man 11. I genuinely thought the series was dead after the cancellation of Legends 3 and Universe and Capcom not giving a shit about MM for most of the '10s. Those Legacy collections must have sold really well.
