Square getting bought by Sony though you are right not as big, i would argue would still make giant air waves. The thing thats making this bigger is Act/Blizzard scandal has been in the news airwaves for some time the purchase amount and the fact Microsoft is buying out a company known for shitty practices also known for one of the biggest money making franchise's in gaming history.
