Gay and Bisexual relationship thread |OT|

Howdy y'all.

I am in a near 2-year relationship and my bf will be leaving for school in another country by the end of the month :( very depressing.

Anyone done the long term thing for an extended period of time? We will be separated for about 1.5 years.

So there's this guy that I work with and I think he's gay, but i'm not entirely sure. I'm usually 9/10 with my gaydar but this one keeps throwing me off. He has a lot of the tendencies that I look for when trying to see if someone's straight or not. Many others at work thinks he's not straight, and one of my friends that i work with immediately declared he wasn't straight from their first meeting (she's been right about all the guys i questioned to be gay). I'm interested in talking to him because he's really nice, good-looking, and we've had some interesting conversations. I wouldn't want to be wasting my time though so I'm just looking for a way to ask without making it awkward from now on. Also, i'm not sure if he knows that i'm gay or not as i've never hinted at it nor have i brought it up in any way. Thanks for your help guys and gals.

Well, if you're interested in talking to him and getting to know him; gor for it. Even if he's not gay, he might be a great friend.

But if your only interest is to see if he's boyfriend-material then apporach differently. Casually bring the topic of relationships to get an impression of where he stands. Maybe "lie to him" in the way of asking him about that you hear other co-workers talking about he getting married soon or something and see where things go. Heck, for a time; many assumed at my last job that I was married and with a kid, so the question wouldn't be weird. :p

Actually this is really good suggestion. Maybe next time your in the elevator together, you can say something like, "Meet any nice chicks over the weekend?" Then you two can brofist.

Honestly though, he might already have given you the answer when he said he's meeting up with a girl he's meet online, despite what the other in your work have implied.

I just bought 2 lucky brand jeans for 119 each. Time to buy that shirt I want from Superdry. Funny thing is I cannot fit any of these clothes, hopefully one day i will.

Any pics of the jeans? I suck at buying (specific) clothes..so, to me all jeans are the same. :p

I envy guys that can just wear whatever they want, don't have to worry about looking for a specific large size and could just go out wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

It's never too late to turn your life around. You owe yourself the opportunity to feel good about yourself, and to be comfortable with your body.

If what you say about your weight is true, you will see drastic changes in no time, and that will definitely inspire you further.

Nothing comes easy in life, but this is something you can tackle, and it's definitely worth it.

Btw is that a picture of you when you weighed 250-300lbs less? Because the guy on that pic is a VERY good looking dude and would also make an incredibly charismatic musician (reminds me a lot of Chris Loftlin, but he is less attractive than the guy in your picture).

Haven't been in a gay gaf thread since the Hot Guy Thread. Just saying ello. Been with my bf for 7 years and things are good. He's not a gamer which sucks and causes some issues sometimes but I have gotten him to play some DS and wii games with me.

You know you're not fat and ugly by the responses here. I mean, GAF tells people when they're fat or ugly. Accept that what you see is distorted by some psychological issues. I hope someday you can see what the rest of us do.

I was talking about this with Replicant earlier today, but this is true. It seems that some of the negativity that young gays experience definitely affects their own views on their appearance, thus crippling their own sense of confidence, worth and ability to socialize.
