The second underlined part is still really not true at all, though. Maybe you should stop hanging around with the sociopathic types.
If I go by the porn videos/studios, about half of them are about "straight guys going gay for money". I don't get the appeal of this fantasy, but evidently many people do otherwise there wouldn't be such a big market for videos like that.

STRAIGHT(?) GUY HERE, PLEASE READ

I hope a close friend of mine (who is also an avid Neo_GAFFER) doesn't see this, but...

I'm not TOTALLY hetero. Who is?

Once I got drunk and let a [self-described] fairy queen guy blow me. I didn't finish. We ended up cuddling and sleeping in for about 7-8 hours. It was okay.

Recently, I had a bad couple of dates, and a gay friend came on to me. I ended up making out with him and let him blow me, and I jerked him a bit. As in the first situation, I was a little drunk, and that was that. Neither one of us got off.

Damn, this part of the story is pretty hot.

Can't give you any good advice though, sorry :(

I can understand why he thinks that and it's not entirely wrong. It's just that some people's types happen to be straight most of the time. I know the gay community well and there have been extremely few I could see myself in a relationship with while there are a lot more straight men who are my type. They're not my type because they're straight. On the contrary, I wish they were gay :(

Actually, that's quite a good analysis.

Look, I've warned Exclamation about his attitude especially because his way of seeking advice is rather atrocious. However, do you guys really need to be antagonistic like that? Pushing his buttons until he says fuck you isn't exactly all on him.

This is the last I'll say on this:

Im sorry to Exclamation for pushing his buttons. I make this open apology to gayGAF in general, not specifically to Exclamation, as I feel he was insulting to me (and others) with the way he wrote his initial post. Based on his initial post, I felt that the tone was more narcissistic and condescending than genuine. Blanket statements based on anecdotal evidence are wrong for any people. I just felt that he wasn't really looking for help, but rather showing off and fluffing his own feathers and using words and statement that were passive homophobic.

So for the sake of the community, and the integrity of the thread, I apologize. Next time I will choose to ignore such posts and allow others to address them.

I think a "Girl, get over yourself" would be appropriate. There wasn't any ganging up upon and there isn't really anything we can say and do about that situation. If he feels uncomfortable with Chuck making these comments then he should tell him to back the fuck off.

Also If you feel so sensitive about it, then you're probably gay given how all gay people are overly-sensitive.

PS: Banging a straight guy for the sake of him being straight has never been my fantasy and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be the best in bed.

I don't get the appeal either. Must be a dominance/submission thing or something, paying c.q. forcing someone to do something that goes against their very nature/will to establish your own superiority and alleviate your inferiority complex? Either way, it doesn't sound like something a mentally healthy person would get off on. The whole thing is just gauche and creepy.

I suppose that it's partially human nature to covet that which you cannot have, but yes, it is very detrimental to the psyche.

Straight men are the "forbidden fruit" that is seemingly impossible to obtain, and it becomes a "challenge". Some believe that to have a straight man take interest in you--someone who shouldn't be attracted to you and yet "desires" you regardless--means that not only are you desirable, but you are attractive/special to the point that you can "convert" straight men.

It's
almost
quite sad, really. I can understand that falling for a straight man is certainly possible (and perhaps even an inevitability at least once in your life), but that endless pursuit for self-depreciation and disappointment is only self-destructive. Products of our society and a fragile, vulnerable mind, I suppose.

Hey, I actually agree with you on something. Youre a pretty cool dude now. :-)

Aww congratz! Black Titanium always looks good.

Close. I was adamant about if we ever got rings I wanted something that wouldn't scratch, wasn't expensive and I'd never need to have polished. That left out precious metals of course.

Thanks again everyone.

Maybe they're not for gay guys at all; maybe they are for straight guys who have a secret fantasy. :p

The 'fairy queen' bit was self-described, by the way. He took pride in feathers, boas, and the like. Sorry if anyone got offended; I'll edit my original post.

Edit: Shouta, just saw your PM. Thanks. :)

Well, I think you really just need to sit down with Chuck and be like "Hey dude, I'm not comfortable with you hinting to everyone that we made out and did stuff."

I wouldn't say anything that might offend him, but definitely let him know that you're not comfortable sharing any details of any escapades you might have, and that since you're also friends with Jay, it makes you really uneasy.

For all you know, they might have an open relationship? I don't know, but if I were you, I wouldn't worry about Jay finding out for any reason other than he might tell someone. If he's in his 50's though, I somehow doubt he gets his giggles by telling others that his BF cheated on him with a straight guy.

Outside of what Jay probably won't(?)/might(?) say, don't worry about him. If the cheating thing is a big deal, it's not your problem in the slightest.

Hope this helps a little bit, dude. Good luck.

Also holy shit at Xelios. Fucking congrats, dude. Those bands are cool as shit. What are they made of? :D

Congrats Xelios!!!!

Congratulations, Xelios. So how did it happen? Did he get down on one knee? How do gay people do this? :p

I gave my bf his on Christmas and did the whole one knee thing. =)

D'aww, a little late but congrats xelios! :3 I wish great times and many happy years for you and your husband to be! Can't wait to hear on any more updates, if any!

...and that's why you should always start on the sides, Spacebridge!

Yup, learned my lesson. I gotta be at work tomorrow at 10. I dont think I can get this fixed in time. I have two options: 1)shave the rest of my head the same length (it'll be total marine shave) or 2) Wear a hat at work until it grows in.

I need a beer right now.

Think how weird it would be to always be wearing a hat whenever other people are around for the next couple of weeks. Just go to town on the rest of it

This. Shave it all off and grow giddy with delight when little stubs start growing on your scalp. Then you can pretend to be a cactus and rub your head against stuff. Like balloons.
Seriousy answer: Shave it all off.

Im trying to get my buddy to come over tomorrow and finish it off. Im pissed and laughing right now. Pissed at how stupid I was, and laughing at how stupid I look.

And, no, no pics this time.

Just made a mistake on my hair clipper settings. Now I have a nice shaved line doww the center of my head. Fuck me.

Reverse mohawk? Eek. Just shave it all the same length, it'll be cute on you.

Yes, it was a fairly straightforward and traditional proposal, nothing extraordinary or crazy. It was cute though, kind of like how nervous straight guys do it on movies. I'm just glad we managed to work past the last year or so to this, since it was rocky there for a while.

Thanks for the congrats and wishes everyone, you guys are awesome. I wish you all the best as well!

I'm moving to LA in 4 days for work. I guess this means I'll be ready to actually date now.

And quite a city to choose too. From what I hear, LA has one of the best gay communities next to NYC and SF.
