Finished the campaign today. Fun experience on the whole aside from the bosses who, while looking great visually, were absolute ass in the gameplay category. Bullet sponges where you repeat the same tactic over and over for 10 minutes are just not fun, and leaves you feeling so empty afterwards. Also, the soundtrack was weeeeeaaaaaaaak except for one part (everyone knows which part). The music was so boring, but that's a fault of most shooters these days.
I still feel that the game, on the whole, is missing something by adopting a more vibrant style and going away from the horror elements of the first though. There were a FEW instances of how I would've liked the majority of the game to look, especially in the latter half of the campaign, but not nearly enough dark, grimy locals where lighting and shadows took precedent. Oh well.
But still, fun times.
