...Geist begins in familiar videogame territory but quickly takes a turn for the supernatural. Raimi, a disease control expert, accompanies a counter-terrorist squad to infiltrate the headquarters of the sinister Volks Corporation. However, the plan quickly goes awry. The Volks troops ambush Raimi and his squad mid-mission, leaving you to shoot your way out of the complex...
...So far, Geist could be forgiven for looking like an ordinary first-person shooter. That is, until the main character is killed off within the first 10 minutes. Instead of escaping, Raimi is captured by Volks forces, who subject him to a deadly experiment that rips his spirit from his body.

Being a ghost is cool but your powers are practically zilch. To progress in the game youll have to find a body (or object) to inhabit before your spirit energy meter reaches zero, or Raimis essence will evaporate forever. The simpler the host, the easier it is to possess. For instance, you first get to practice Raimis possession power on a rabbit scampering through the grass. We had fun for a few minutes, seeing what life was like as a bunny, but theres more to this game than dreaming of carrots...
