Looks exactly live every other B-tier Justice League team.
Except I bet it won't have anything redeemable like the 80s JLI.

Didn't they just revamp it with New 52? What the fuck is going on with comics?
no. they had the justice league, the justice league international and justice league dark.
these are all different teams. just like teen titans has more then just the teen titans.
this is the JLA or the justice league of america.
homie ain't playin' with you
Has all powerful ring that draws energy from your willpower. Holding a gun with limited ammunition that probably won't work against anything besides non-powered human beings without armor. Cool.
well with the storyline going on right now (rise of the third army) baz wants a backup plan in the case that his ring fails for whatever reason.
This is a team separate from the current Justice League that will work alongside them, or apart from them, right?
RIGHT?
Wonder Woman's ex bf Steve Trevor. He's already a prominent character in both the Justice League & Justice League Dark series.
I'm pretty sure this isn't an answer. That pic has been floating around for a while now. And to be fair, the first arc of the current GL Corps made a pretty good case for green lanterns having guns.So guns are a real hot topic right now, and how does DC answer? By giving the Green Lantern a gun. That's right kids, if you want to be powerful like the Green Lantern, you too should pack some heat.
Also, when did guns become a threat in comics? Most gun guys have to have like an uzi or a machine gun to do any harm. This guy just has a piece.
Geoff explained the gun is for when/if the GL ring looses battery charge. He wants Baz to stand out from the other Green Lanterns by being the one that plans ahead.
Honestly, in every other arc from GL or Corps, there's a time when they run out of juice or are about to thanks to a thousand plot points that revolve around batteries/willpower/the color spectrum. That kind of adds to the drama though. If he plans ahead he shouldn't ever run out of battery charge, should he?
I've been avoiding New DC stuff but I heard WW is good so I might pick it up.
With that said... did this guy ever got trained by Kilowog? Wouldn't he bash his head for not keeping a spare lantern battery available?
Most likely not, with all the other drama going on in the GL-verse atm...

My bigger concern here is how he fits in with already 4 human GLs.
Edit: Haha, we're still on the gaming side.
Cool lineup I guess? I like it when teams are formed from underrated characters, but this just seems like a mess, especially since its a Justice League team and you have people like Catwoman on it. I'm not too much into comics (I know that the DC universe got rebooted) but I'm fairly certain that Catwoman is more of a rogue anti-hero (sometimes just a villain) and doesn't really fit well into a team.
Nah, that's not new. She was already a member during Grant Morrison's run, it was kinda cool.

Johns... sigh. Why's he having such a success is beyond me.

You have got to be kidding me.

How much difference will a gun make?

I like the team. It's a grab-bag but it could work - I'd probably cut Catwoman or Katana. Maybe Hawkman. I'm interested in the new Green Lantern but come on a gun? And a handgun at that. I mean, some sort of heavy weapon I could see some use for, but what good is a handgun?

LOL my god what a joke Geoff Johns is LOL LOL he even put Star Girl his own creation in there.
